European Freedom Rangers?

Hello all,

I recently moved to Europe--to Ukraine, specifically. Question--what would be a comparable European breed to the American Freedom Ranger? I've searched the Internet, but can't seem to find anything on the subject. Basically, I want a broiler that can free range to a good extent and still have good feed/meat conversion, without taking forever and a day to reach a decent processing weight. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi, I have Sasso which are a French company breeding for the Label Rouge market, which is basically free range broiler chicken.
There is also Hubbard.

I kept some back last year with the fittest cockerels and have bred them this year with good results.

An alternative is the Rowan Ranger from Aviagen. Their site seems to indicate they have distributors in Ukraine.
