Hello
I just learned that the European pekin is on the endangered list. I breed them in the U.S and there is a FB group listed as European Pekin in the US. For anyone interested.

They are the original pekin. Very fun birds to raise.
 
:welcome Do they still go broody and raise their own young?
Had another breeder say one of his went broody on a large nest, Idont know the outcome. Will attempt to let a hen try it next Sping when I have a couple more hens.
I hatched 8 by incubator. They require hands on because they dont always end up head up by the airsack.

Beautiful birds. Do they all stand more erect like that or is just how they happen to be in the picture? It just reminds me of a runner if it were huge like a Pekin.
