I will be glad to be home all the time! I swiped DH's power cord for his lap top and it works on mine
so I can get back in for now! Yes had we known Preservation Genetique was closing that year, we would have ordered more Euskal Oiloas in Maradunna and Gorria.
Here's my little girls from this year, 3 weeks old tomorrow, but this was them at 2 weeks! I got a good picture of their backs and you can see the tiny beige shoulder feathers. I have no males to compare too at this age but they would have more white and grey/black and no red/beige/brown. One of them's head is slightly darker than the other and at hatch I thought I had a male and a female as one had a wider comb pad. Nicer this way though!
Curious little creatures!
Here's Blondie, the Grandma of all having a good dig around in some freshly scythed grass.
BlackBart welcome to the thread, shame you didn't get a more positive response last year, thanks for linking to that thread. You are among friends now!
Skyline, I was actually born in Cyprus in Sovereign base territory of English parents then lived in UK til I was 18. I just met a fellow East Riding-er who is on #1 your EO egg list and from within 15 miles of me! Can't believe it! Though there is a lady from Hull (20 miles away in UK who has a couple of my pet EO hen breeding culls), she lives an hour away, I have to tell her about the other east Yorkshire-ite!
Sounds like the move was well worth it, though lots of work. We are making sure whether interim property or dream acreage, there'll be no-one for the chorus of roos to bother!
Love that that Buckeye, he is solid!
