I have been fortunate, I haven't had any problems with my dogs and had to run them to the vet. I live in the panhandle of Florida, we don't have a cosco's or a kirklands.....any suggestions???

If there is a Petsmart or similar store in your area, look for Nutro Max.

There's not much between Beneful and Good Life. Both are equally guilty of trying to trick customers into thinking their products are good for their dogs. The Good Life ingredients are:

Read the back of the goodlife recipe. Beneful uses corn as their main ingredient, which is a filler, and not good. Dogs have a hard time digesting corn, and it causes allergies, and yeast problems. There is also SUGAR in the food. Dogs do not need sugar, it can lead to tooth problems.

Taste of the wild is a great food. You people have made a believer out of me! Who sells Beowolf (sp) - Does anyone know what SouthernStates sells that is healty? Does WalMart have anything that is healthy? Please help! Will dump the Pedigree as soon as I can!

As a stay-at-home mom with a very (8 hr/wk max) job I'm on a tight budget when it comes to feeding my 3 dogs.... it's hard enough to feed my 3 kiddos that are still at home. I use Nutro for all of my dogs. While it may not be the very best food on the market, it's affordable and it sure beats a lot of them out there!

Do you have a Tractor Supply Company near you? That's where I get my Diamond lamb meal and rice formula.

I have had great luck with it. It's normally $25 a 40 lb bag but they usually have it on sale for about $22. I just recently got my mini ausie and her former owner had been feeding her ol' roy. Her poo was really yuckie. Since getting her switched over to the diamond, things have improved ten fold.
