Ever eat your husbands cooking?

Mine's great, and I'm not stupid. I love anything he cooks. Especially Italian! He's the grill chef and the Italian cook at this house. I come from a long line of very boring cooks.

Mine tried making a pot roast once.... I gag just thinking about it...

It was like a hard piece of unflavored meat in water... it was so bad, our dog wouldn't even touch it! Gross!

I don't have a hubby, but when/if I do, I hope he can cook decently. I don't ask for much, LOL.

Yes, and love it. I cook country comfort food. He cooks more of a gourmet type stuff and can grill like nobodys business!!

After you saute whatever meat you are cooking, be it fish or steak, you add cream, raw in our case, to the pan, and simmer gently.
It sucks up all the meat juice and spices.

Two days ago, he made this with Pike, seasoned with Dill and Sea salt.
Its on the menu tonight again, except we will add sauted chopped portbella to the sauce

Last time I made it, was with moose tenderloin.

Last night I made French toast with whipped cream and strawberries for supper. The girls had the rest of it for breakfast this morning (sans whipped cream)

The night before it was broiled chicken breasts that had marinated in white wine, extra virgin olive oil, rosemary, garlic, and black pepper.

The night before that was southern style pot roast with rice, gravy, and steamed vegetables.

Last weekend I made chocolate muffins for breakfast on Sunday, waffles for breakfast on Saturday.

I also bake all of the bread my family eats using flour that I mill myself.

So, yes, my family eats my cooking pretty much every day.

.....Alan.

Yeah, I ate his messed up burnt bland eggs once, and mac and cheese he forgot to strain the water out of (or add the butter or add milk).

I will NEVER let him in my kitchen again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
