I ran into town, too. Of course for me that means going out my door.

Speaking of which, they are building a sidewalk in my area! It's not on my street, but along an intersecting major street. I can soon WALK on sidewalks to all the key places in my neighborhood - drug stores, grocery store, etc. I guess I could have before, by walking in yards like everyone else, but this makes it more reasonable. Just so they don't build one in my yard. I don't want to shovel it! We get quite a bit of pedestrian traffic down my street but not enough to justify that expense so I think we are okay.

While I was out I did drop in at the thrift store. Got another big dog carrier for my birds! Another set of button quail will soon be housed in that one. That will require the shuffle since a couple of pairs will be moved about to new homes.

I hope the best for Lindsey. I remember when Raymond was in his coma, they told us the same thing. There was no way to tell if there was any brain damage until he came around fully. It was a long wait. As you all know there was some slight damage from the small bits of brain that were damaged and to be removed. That is what causes his physical disabilities and some memory issues. He is learning to overcome those though and I have faith that she will too. Like Nat said, it may just change her perspective on the world.

Hey Chickenchick! Glad you're back!

Just to let you all know........I forgot to stop and get the lottery tickets last night so I just looked to see if we would have won anything. I was afraid to look! We didn't hit not one number! ZERO! Boy, we're real lucky, huh! Lol! I am still going to play them for Saturday. Keep your fingers crossed!

my 6 messy mutts do me in-they attack all waterers ALL- I have two waterers for all teh chickens outside and two pools do they use the pools to blow their snots...nooooo they filth up the chickens waterers-but alas..I love them all I just wish they didnt drive me crazy with all the extra work they make me do for all of them!!! youll love them MIchelle! hahaha

Oh, it was full (and green) all summer. I "just" finished getting the muck out of it. Actually there are still two BIG tubs of muck to carry out, but at least the muck is now in tubs. They are too heavy to carry, so will have to be bailed into smaller containers to remove it. Let's just say that the last dregs of algae smelled foul.

I'd fill it for the animals but it would need a filter and pump first. Right now I don't want to spend on that.

Good very chilly Friday Morning!

We won our game last night!! That means we move on to the play offs Wednesday night. Sounds like hubby and I are going to spend our Anniversary in Lexington! We have played them before, had a melt down and lost a game we shouldn't have. I am hoping we get our act together this time around! Colton tolerated it pretty well, he rode with hubby but stayed with the team. He was really exhausted and sore by the time we headed home, but very happy to be there. Right after the game started, I noticed Colton talking on his cell phone and walking to where it was quieter. I followed him and it was Lindsey's Mom. She is awake and sitting up some and they asked her to write something, anything on a piece of paper. She wrote that she loved and missed Colton. That did a lot to lift his spirits. I told him we would go down on Saturday to visit. The driver is apparently doing better than we all thought. She messaged Colton on Facebook and said she was hoping to be home in a few days.

Charmed--Are we playing to lottery to win our trips to Montana? I will try to remember to pick up a few tonight or tomorrow too! I usually just do scratchers, but will occasionally do lotto too.
