Well while I was typing the last post it started snowing. I clicked submit, looked up, and it is white out there! You know what that means, I am baking cookies!! Oatmeal Raisin, chocolate chip or Scotcheroos???

So, have you seen The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer? It is a prequel to Rose Red. I haven't read many of his books, but I am gonna bet you can't beat them! My absolute favorite movies of his I have seen so far are The Stand and The Langoliers. And off the subject, but talking about Raymond, I read somewhere that you said he was a preemie. So was Destiny! My how they grow out of it! Have you heard from him? Is he having a great time?

So, perfect! You have some pumpkins! Just load them up and bring them when you head on out here for Halloween! (Bring Mocha, Thunder is going to hang out at the station to see the kids too!)

It is cool here this morning, but supposed to be around 60 or above the next few days. More reason for you to come here! Chocolate chip sound absolutely wonderful! Or oatmeal raisin. I am hungry, heck, anything sounds good! Don't forget to start the pot of chili too!

Oh! You are so sneaky!! Do you have a costume for Thunder?

I haven't seen The Diary but I have read it. I have read a few of his books. I really like his imagination but I found his writing style a little hard to follow.

Destiny was a preemie too?! How early was she? Raymond was due on Jan 18 and born on Nov 17th. He was 3lbs 4 oz. He was pretty healthy though and we got to bring him home on Christmas Eve. It is amazing how soon they seem to catch up with everyone else. You would never know it now. The only lasting result is his Asthma. They said the respirator can cause that. Does Destiny have any left over issues?

I heard from him when he was in Florida waiting to board on Saturday. He was getting pretty antsy. Four of his cousins and their families were going too. So he was anxious to see everyone.

Good Grief! Did we all have preemies? Riki Lynn weighed 1 lb 3 1/2 oz. She was due on March 28th and was born on Dec 7th! 10 1/2 in long. I got to bring her home 2 weeks before her due date. The issue for her was ear infections when she was little. The Dr. wasn't catching all of her ear infections and she had to have the bones in one ear rebuilt and 1 in the other ear. Now she can hear ok but needs some more surgery. That is why she decided to be an interperter for the deaf.

I forgot to tell you..she celebrates both birthdays. Her birthday in dec and her "should have been" birthday in march!

I made chocolate chip cookies yesterday as well as some yeast dinner rolls. I have split pea soup in the crock pot and tea ready to brew!

Thunder has an orange cape with black bones on it to wear for Halloween! We have been calling him Thunderdog! when we try it on him! I figured I would bring him a blanket and he can lay by me at my table while I am fortunetelling.

Destiny was due June 10th and born on May 13th. They induced early because she wasn't getting food through the placenta and was starving to death. She was 4 lb and 2 oz and 18 inches long. When she was 5 days old she stopped breathing for a brief time, so she had to be on a heart monitor for a week. She was home in 12 days and was never sick growing up. No sign of any heart problems. Colton was 8 lb and 1 oz and 21 inches long, full term and was sick all the time. He had ear infections, constipation, allergies, you name it, he had it!

My husband was due in March 30 and born on Dec. 31st. Less than 2 lbs at birth. That was almost 40 years ago. He is now 180 lb and 6 ft 4 in. tall!

So, maybe we all need to pack up and go to Terrie's house!

If he is going to Milan, he will probably come through here? I would assume so unless he comes in from the south, but would still be really close. Come on with him, stop by and help us at the station and I will have Mom take you back to Milan when we are done! The rest of you go ahead and drive on over here too!

Wouldn't that be a blast! I have to think on this some. I can't leave the farm unattended all night. I would have to either find someone to stay there or drive myself up and back the same day. Let me see if I can get something worked out. NY and Chickenchick.....get your orange on and meet me there!!
