Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

Right now we have just water in it. But we plan on red kool aid for the hand. The punch will be grape and orange mixed and it is supposed to look black. We want to float the hand in it. It sounds so easy, but we are probably (obviously) making it much harder than it is!

We did the Wal-Mart/Lowe's trip last night. We found pumpkins at Lowe's for a $1 a piece! We got 2 white ones and 4 orange ones. Unfortunately we didn't get home last night in time to carve them, but we will probably do that tomorrow night. I did have to stay up late last night to get chili in the crock pot for today. It was probably 2am by the time I fell asleep and back in town by 8am. We will be here all day decorating!

How was your evening? Did you sleep good?

Good morning! I will be here off and on today too. I kind of kicked butt on the chores yesterday so I have a little more time today.

Raymond comes home tomorrow!

We have to go to the "city" to pick him up around 1 PM. So I cleaned his room, you know the things boys don't do, sweep , mop, dust, washed his sheets and blankets. It was really starting to smell like BOY in there.

I bet you enjoyed your time without Raymond, but are so excited for him to come home! I was always glad when Mom took the kids on vacation, but always ready for them to be back home. Of course in a few days I was ready for them to go again!

Thunder tried on his cape again yesterday and is ready for his big day! He was up at 7 am while we were getting ready this morning but we told him to wait until Daddy came in later! I bought him another fuzzy blanket last night too. Geesh! We have tons and tons of blankets he can use, but these are the nice fuzzy ones at Wal-Mart and those are his favorites! They were on clearance for $4, so we got him a brown one. He already has a blue one. I am going to surprise him with it tonight so he can lay on it while I am doing my fortune telling.

By the way, I came to town this morning in my Mizzou pjs, carrying my snuggie. I don't have my ears on yet! Destiny is in her tights and batman boxers, gray shirt and cape. She had the mask on for a while, but took it off! We got looks when we went to get something to drink this morning!

You re right it is nice to have some alone time. Hubby is really good about making sure it is good alone time too. No NY not what your thinking

well OK maybe??!! I just mean he keeps his friend and work related phone calls to almost nill. He also includes me in anything that he has to do. Like when the BIL called and wanted to hunt DH said fine, but my wife is coming!!

Have you ever noticed that no matter how long your kids are gone, even if it is only a weekend, they somehow look more grown up when they come home?

Raymond will be 15 on the 17th. I just can't believe it!

And yes, the kids grow so much faster when it has been a few days. Dang, sometimes Colton wakes up and looks like he grew overnight! I think it is the facial hair that really blows me away! Destiny is still 4'11, so she will never grow up!

So did the chili and Thunder make it to town? Hope so! It is extremely windy here. My power has been blinking all day and finally about a half an hour ago it went off completely! So I am hoping the computer battery lasts a while. I am just SO disappointed that I can't vacuum or do laundry

. I am upset that I can't plug in my glue gun and put House in the DVD player! I really wanted to work on my eggs today! That one I have finished isn't going to cut it! I hope all of you are having a great Halloween!!

Oh Michelle I forgot to comment on the facial hair!! Does Colton shave? Raymond has had the same 8 - 10 hairs on his chin for months now! He looks like Shaggy from Scooby Doo. We keep offering to buy him his first razor and shave cream and teach him how. "No Mom, this is cool, I'm good"
