I got distracted and ran off. Puppy, dog, cats, birds, snow...and cleaning up my FB page a ton. Phone calls, food...

Nothing much really done here, LOL. I really need to accomplish some things soon.

Nero is making progress. He has mastered sit and is doing really well with Lie Down (while I point where I want him). He also does pretty good with "Come here" (listens most times). After we master Lie Down (for sure) we'll work on Stay. We are working on it a little but not a ton.

He's making progress with house training but we still have the occasional accident. He goes all night though. Also working on him not jumping. Not nipping/mouthing us is a little harder for him to learn. He got me in the back of the leg earlier. YOUCH (he didn't break skin but puppy teeth are sharp, ROFL)

You just have an abnormally good son and don't realize it is teenage stuff. They will test you. Frank especially will until he finds that fine line too. This is a learning experience for all of you. Dang that Raymond for letting you get by so easy all these years!

You are right, he is just trying to figure out where the boundaries are. We do let some things go that FM doesn't and I am sure all of our parenting ways are different from what he grew up with.


Thank you Elizabeth! My first husband, Raymonds Dad didn't want children either. Which would have been just fine if he hadn't pretended he did, right up until I said it was time to have one. We had been married d5 years and I was tired of waiting for the "right time" !

I said it a while back-before we decided to go --My grandfather has alzheimers:-( he just got out of ICU..for eating a whole packet over powdered oven cleaner on 14 yogurts! Hes lucky he didnt die:-( In hospital for a month-just got out last week. My mom ( his daughter) and my sis brother and I are all going because we know it will be the last time we'll see him alive..sigh...
He doesnt know us-nor my mother-but were going to try and reconnect in some way one last time...We leave tomorrow am-be back late Sundaty night...
