Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

Hi Feather, I am Robin, I don't think we have ever met.

We are having amazing weather. It is 77 outside and nice and breezy, with the sun shining.

I cannot seem to get anything done. Not sure what my problem is. My A.D.D. is in high gear.


Tex, the boots I have are 8. I usually wear an 8 but these just seem a bit too small. i will get them out and try once more, if not you interested/

I have always liked boots and have had a few pairs through the years, but never thought I would actually own and enjoy work boots until we got the chickens and then all the other animals! I really wasn't an outdoor person up until then!

I am not really into footwear either. I have one pair of shoes I wear to work, a ton of flip flops, my house shoes and my Sketcher Shape ups that I love love love. I also have a few worn out pairs of tennis shoes to throw on when needed. I am just not that into my wardrobe.

Ha! you sound like me about the whole wardrobe thing lol. My sisters are always fussing at me about my choices of things to wear when we go somewhere. Less is more with me.
I do have a pair of the rubber (look like they are made out of tires) boots that are great for walking in deep mud with but my calves are soooo big (even when I loose lots of weight I have huge calve muscles) that I have a hard time getting them on. I also use them for wading in backwater when we go gigging for gar fish.

Oh, forgot to mention. Just heard from Geico. They are going to send me a $750 check over the cost of my medical bills from the wreck!!

That will be a nice little chunk to help pay the bills while I am off with the baby since I don't get any pay during that time.

That is not bad considering I only had a stiff neck for 3 days and a bruised knee that are both just fine now!



Oh Michelle, forgot to answer your question earlier. I am doing great. All symptoms of the cold/sinus infection are gone other than the cough that mostly only acts up at night and early morning. Every day it is a little better. Thanks for asking!

Boots...

I got a catalogue recently with traditional leather boots of the type some of you may be looking for. I can't remember the name of it, but if I come across it, I'll post the name of the company. I was kind of coveting the boots in it, then lo and behold, found a pair identical to them (though a different company) a couple of weeks later at a thrift shop -- and they fit. Yup, they came home. I'd forgotten I bought them. Wondering where they are now...

probably stuffed them in the closet. Will have to find them for spring...
