The puppies are a-freaking-dorable! They won't hold still long enough for me to snap their pictures, but I'll try to get someone to hold them at work tonight.

Yep - definitely thunder - gotta run and feed the animals!

Tanya, the floods are terrible and the snow hasn't even started melting. that's bad news i bet.... Stay safe.

Okay so i am all excited about going to shreveport with DH -- He tells me last night that we will actually be dropping in Vicksburg well Vicksburg is before we get to shreveport, so I am thinking there has got to be something to do in Jackson, Vicksburg, Meridian that we can enjoy without going the extra couple of hours to shreveport. anyone know about mississippi? I think I will ask the Mississippi folks on their thread or post a new one.

Tex--I am sorry to hear about your hen. I hope you get some relief soon! I think the hot temps are creeping back here. I am sure it will since Colton and Freddie spend Thursdays and Fridays at camp starting today for the next 3-4 weeks!

I am spending the morning frantically trying to tie up ends for the country showdown on Saturday. I need judges and wish Tex were close enough to come up and do it. I had some lined up, but it fell through so I am on the search again. My contestants also aren't cooperating as I would like for them to. But, in the end, I know it will all fall together, so I am trying to keep my stress level down as much as possible!

Tex - I lost a hen to the heat yesterday too.

The puppies are starting to figure out the bottle so I'm not tubing them as often. The black one is not as bright as the speckled one...his defect is a little worse too, so that might be why it's a little harder for him to nurse. I think they'll both do great in the long run.

HFLL - Someone dumped a super sweet male Beagle off at the end of my road. He told me he wants to be Bessie's new man.
