Yes, the puppies both have cleft lips. They don't extend very far into the palate though, although the black one's is the worse of the 2. The colored one nurses well from the bottle now, but the black one is still struggling to get the hang of it. He's also less patient and gets too frantic for his own good.

Quick update on my day:

My air is STILL not working after a month and $650.

DH wrecked his truck this morning. A friend of his was following him and rear-ended him. The friend was drinking. Did I mention I don't like a lot of his friends?

At least he had insurance, but just another freakin thing to deal with.

I've been working since 12 noon and it is now 2:30 am and I'm stuck here doing x-rays on a cat that has been limping for 2 days. what?!

And I'm tired. Did I say that already?

ours finally started up again last week. Now it's turning into the hard afternoon rain every day, which is good...no complaints...much better this way than dying from heat stroke! Hope it rains for you soon...
