Thanks! I will! You keep catching the bad guys and protect your flock! Last weekend we decided to put the 3 chicks I hatched from Nat out in the coop with the rest of the birds. Later that night, about midnight, Des and I were outside feeding the foster goats and I look over in front of the porch and see one of the kittens checking something out. Upon further inspection, those little darlings had escaped the coop and made it back up by their brooder! Hubby chased them down and they are back in their old place. I had forgotten there was a small gap under the pen door that we forgot to put the block back in front of so they must have found it. Considering the coop is down by the road and a large ditch filled with water, I am surprised they found their way back "home". Nat must have sent me some pretty smart birds!! The cats wouldn't have bothered them, but something may have come along before morning.

Id love to finally see photos of them Michelle--which ones hatched-I forgot if you told me

I cant believe you only got 3 to hatch though--I was hoping for the motherload of chicks to smother you with!!! Hows the duck??

I cant believe you only got 3 to hatch though--I was hoping for the motherload of chicks to smother you with!!! Hows the duck??

We lost duckie.

The chicks are black with feathered feet. I think 2 are girls and one has a very large bright red comb that has been visible since he hatched! I wasn't sure I wanted a roo this time around, but we have decided to keep him. They are adorable and very personable. I will take pics as soon as Lindsie returns my camera. We were taking pics of the trailer a few weeks ago and Colton thought it was hers and took it to her house. I still haven't gotten it back.

He was a sweetie and we miss him! But we really enjoy the chicks. We are going to try to move them again this weekend. I want the brooder cleaned out so we can put a pair of bunnies in it. Until we get the bunny room done, I am running out of cages and have 2 I need to separate! I went a little overboard with the bunny thing without being prepared!

Well..... if oyu have too many bunnies maybe you will have to bring some with oyu to MT! Just kidding! Kenny mentions bunnies every so often, I tell him its a package deal. He can't have bunnies til I get a goat!

We have a casino in town and I have never been in it! Mt MIL and her Mom visit frequently though! Maybe I will have to check it out

Soooo, how was the casino!? Casinos are a blast! My dad took me to Vegs for my 21st B-day and we have the Hard Rock in Tampa that we visit quite often. I hit a spades royal flush playing 7-card stud. To those of you that don't speak gambler, spades royal flush = jackpot!
