So, since it is just you and hubby, swing on over here and celebrate the new year with us! Everyone just come to Tonna's and we will eat, drink and play Wii! NY if you can bring some Yeungling!

That sounds like a perfect way to start the New Year! I will bring all of Raymonds Wii games too!

But in my defense, I just wanted a little bit of snow, you know, just barely covering the ground kind of thing. It never occurred to me that I might be ordering a blizzard!

Next maybe I will wish for a little money for the New Year and see what comes to me! We'll see who is mad then!

Btw, I am listening to North Missouri's hottest country radio station and never thought I would hear "Pour some sugar on me"!!

Def Leppard! I have seen them twice in concert, once about 9 years ago and the second time was about 2 years ago with Styx and Foreigner. Them and Poison are my favorite 80s bands!!

This particular song was actually from when Taylor Swift performed with them on CMT's Crossroads earlier this year. That was an awesome show! It just took me by surprise to hear it playing on our station! But, it is not quite as good as when Tom and Destiny got our DJ a few years ago to play Tim McGraw/Nellie song "Over and Over" on our classic country station! Someone requested it, he had no idea what it was, so feeling full of it that day those 2 downloaded it and sent it to the studio for him to play. The look on his face was priceless and when it was over all he could say on the air was "Well, that was a little more hip hoppy than I expected!"

We laughed so hard we were crying. Bopper comes in (you gotta know him to realize how funny this was) and Tom and Destiny are cranking up all the radios in the station, following them around turning them down and repeating "Oh, I hope the boss doesn't hear this!" We still chuckle about it and that has been about 3 years ago. Ah, the things we do for amusement around here!
