It was depressing and I felt so guilty besides feeling really bad for Destiny having to find it. Mama has a hard time keeping her babies alive anyway for some reason, so I hate it when she loses one like that.

Yes, post lots of pics, I love looking at them! I took several of my animals last week, but keep forgetting to bring the camera cord so I can put them on the computer. We do that often or just pick some random place to take them. We even went a tour of our little town and took pics of places we see everyday, but don't pay much attention to. We also like to make our own videos by picking a song and putting pics to it. We want our next project to be "Small Town USA".

Have a good evening Charmed! Son called and I guess I will be working in garden tonight before all the rain falls!

Good morning all!

We had a lazy day yesterday. I had a whopper of a headache so we stayed in the air conditioning with the blinds pulled. It was hubby's day off so he sat on the couch with me and we watched 2 Net Flicks movies we have had hanging around here for way too long!!

My FIL stopped in twice. I am sure he was thinking "can't you find anything to do?"

I am sorry to hear about your kitty. Are the rest doing well? I had a tom massacre 4 of my babies, I was the only one home so I had to clean up the mess too. I had it happen once before but I thought it was a coon. So these babies were locked in an old coop that I thought was predator proof! I was wrong. It is so sad.

I have a batch of kittens that wandered out from under our steps a couple of days ago. I should get some pics. They are just adorable!!

Good Morning to all! I overslept this morning. Again. I have a horrible headache I am fighting.

I was going to PM chickenchick, but about that time I had a disagreement with the boss and stomped around the rest of the afternoon. (probably where the HA came from). But in the end, I was right and he apologized. Instead of saying to me "you may have told me but I don't remember" he was saying "I was not informed, no one told me." So, I sat down at the computer and went back to an e-mail in May that indicated the conversation he "didn't know about". He apologized and so did I for stomping out of his office. This state showdown we are hosting next week has really caused some friction in the office!

The other 2 kittens are fine so far. I woke up to one of them really crying, but found Mama was moving them. She took them to the living room and stood by a basket in there, so I put a rug in it and helped her get them settled. They should be fine. Colton is home today and I made sure other cats were in the house. I told her she could put them wherever she felt comfortable with them. I feel bad she can't put them in my room where she usually raises them.

I worked in the garden yesterday. I usually don't plant one, but with the chickens and other birds, we decided to this year. Colton is the one who usually messes with it and I quite honestly forgot about it. So, I go out there and we have HUGE cucumbers that are way past done and seeded! So, the chickens had a wonderful snack last night! There were probably (3) 5 gallon buckets of them plus one and a half buckets of good ones! The corn & cantaloupe is almost ready and I got a few tomatoes. I have got to pay more attention!

Michelle it sounds like your garden is doing great! I had a little trouble with bugs and a rooster with a taste for onions! But it is turning out pretty good.

I got my errands ran in town. Hadn't been there much lately beings DS is spending some time with his Dad this summer. So there was a little visiting involved. I ran into several people I had been wanting to talk with. So it ended up being a nice time. I even visited the second hand store and the dollar store! I came home with a very cute rooster napkin holder, so it was worth it!

Is anyone up? I can't sleep.

I have to be up early to drop off a kitten. My dear hubby is sound asleep. His alarm is set for 3:30 am, so its a good thing he can sleep! Me, I will probably still be up when he gets up.

goood morning ladies! I did sleep a little but this is when I check my emails before getting ready for work. When I do get to work its a zoo for the first coupls of hours...well in the last month its a zoo the whole day! michelle..that garden sounds amazing--I love gardening but with all the rain all my stuff died! I was hoping to grow pumpkins and other veggies for the birds but the weather had other palns for my veggies!!!

Good morning everyone! Sonew your problem was just the opposite of ours! We get very little rain here. Montana has been in a drought for years. The past few it has been improving but nothing like it should be. We did get a nice shower sometime between 3am and now. (I guess I fell asleep for a short while

)

My DH has to haul our water for everything. So the garden and yard don't get as much as we would like them to get. It seems to be doing ok though. I have a free range rooster that just discovered my onions were yummy while I was on vacation!
