Raymond and Colton have that in common! Raymond needs to take Claritin as soon as it gets nice out. AND of course the sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes aren't enough to remind him, I have to tell him!!

It is nice to see everyone here this morning. I see we are still missing NY and Jazzy. Also Sunshine, anyone else?

I am glad Harry is enjoying the run of the office. He must be getting some energy from somewhere. Are you sure he is not playing you?

You know like Algo "pretended" to still be sick to get one more day of peace?

I hope he improves soon. I am so sorry your DD is still sick. I am sure this isn't at all what she had in mind either. I do have a thermometer but I can't tell you where it is!

Michelle I am glad you have an understanding coach too. It does make a huge difference doesn't it. He can be hard on them when its necessary but he does give credit and support when it is due too. I wasn't sure I wanted Raymond to continue under the SP program into HS either. However I gave in to everyone else strong suggestions and I am so glad I did. He really needs help with organization and to know there is someone he can ask when he forgets something. There are days, if he is tired or sick) that his memory and thinking is just not clear. We left the movie on Sunday and he was almost asleep. We got into the pickup and he was frantically moving things around the backseat and searching through his pockets. He didn't answer the first 2 times we asked him what was wrong. Finally he said I think I lost my Ipod. We had to reassure him that it was in his room at home. Then he remembered he had left it at home and he was fine. Scary stuff sometimes.

Hubby has started to work out on his days off so it has made it really nice for me. I don't have to sneak it in when he is busy so this way I can get a workout almost everyday. Also starting this friday he will be on vacation for 11 days. We go on our anniversary trip on the second of March too!

So he will probably be lurking a lot while he is off.

to your little one. I hope he is well soon. I hate having a sick child, even when they are 15 you feel helpless.

rir it is 30 here but the sun is shining!

Chickenchick....is this your 3rd anniversary on the 3rd of March? I thought I read that somewhere. Did you already say what you are doing? If not....spill!!! If you have....will you spill again?!!!

Chickie update!!! 2:30am on a bathroom run I found one had not been hatched long cuz it was really wet and since then there are 7 out and 6 more pipped!!!!! 3 of my shipped BCMs are among the 6 now pipped!!! I had started to think those had all been duds or damaged in the shipping but now I know better.

Isaac update!
He woke up this morning like he had never been sick except for a runny nose anyway. Had to literally sit on him to force his antibiotics down him lol. Have not attempted the robatussin yet. Ya know that is going to hard as nasty as that stuff taste. I am waiting for his Papa to come help me.

Got to go back and catch up on everything everyone had to say and get some cleaning done in the middle of all that.

We are leaving Raymond at Grandmas and going to a resort in the mountains. We went last year for the first time and loved it so much we are going back this year. We stay in a little cozy cabin with a fire place , a deck, no phone and no TV! There is a 5 star restaurant in the lodge also a huge fireplace to hang out in front of, and sleigh rides! We didn't get to do that last year so I am hoping to this year

Yep, that is exactly Colton with his Claritin too! For years he wouldn't take anything for it. We would get scripts from the doc and he wouldn't take that either, so I finally started buying over the counter and he is getting better at taking it. He just has to be miserable for a while first. I think it was Friday night they were really bothering him and I told him to go take it and he told me he was out. I asked him how long he had been out and he said since he felt better last time!

Luckily hubby remembered seeing a box in the garage bathroom or I would have been making a trip to town for it! There are days it will completely get him down if he isn't on top of it!

As far as the program goes, I think it is wonderful if it helps a child. If Colton would have got caught younger, they probably could have done more for him, but in that year, he learned what he needed to do and short of clipping his tongue, he has to work at making himself more clear more often. Most of us that are used to him understand him most of the time and didn't realize that it was too much of a problem and for him being pulled out of regular classes to practice how to "hold" his tongue, I didn't think it was worth it, but left the decision up to him. For what they are doing for Raymond, I think it is a wonderful program and I am glad it is really going to help him and he will enjoy being with the coach. Those teachers that do the program at our school are wonderful with the kids. Keep us informed on how it goes!!
