Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

I am not listening to you.....

Once again, the thread is quiet.....I yearn for the days when I couldn't keep up.....I yearn for the days when had to soak my fingers at night, having strained them talking to my BYC friends.....I yearn for..........Awwwww, the hell with it....I'm going home......

Thats too funny! Sorry, Kenny was home today so my schedule was a little screwed up! It did hit 70. I am outside on the swing right now. It is a little breezy but not bad. We are spose to be back in the 30s this weekend too with a chance of rain

Last summer I let my chickens truly free range one late afternoon. Come nightfall I thought everyone was roosting and accounted for. The next morning I went out to open the coop and there was one of my Australorp girls dead as a doornail with her head tucked under her wing, right in front of the coop door. I checked her over and nothing had gotten her, she just died. I felt awful. My FIL didn't help when he said, very sarcastically I might add, she probably died of a broken heart from being locked out!

What I was trying to say is some people may not understand how you feel but we do!

I actually dug my way into the duck pen and shoveled Chuckies pool out of 2 feet of snow-thing was full of ice! tiped it over and it slid right out! scrubbed it clean-went and got 30 gallons of water from the house ( used 5 gallon jugs) hose still frozen and put the spoiled duck in-whats he do??? Jumps out and walks away! I said "oh no you dont you ungrateful SH@T-I ran after him and put him back in-out he pops again-hed rather play in the mud puddles! Last try I planted him in the pool and it finally hit him..."oooh this is my baby pool-I love my baby pool" he swam and swam

I am sorry dear! My Mom was over again and came up in the afternoon and we gabbed way too much! I was going to text you when I got home, but found out Freddie was coming up, so Des and I went back to town to get Subway since it was American Idol night and we had to "help" the boys get their papers done that were due today. We head in, my van starts acting up, transmission wouldn't shift. Had to call hubby and he came to check it out. Turned it off, back on and she ran like a new one. Apparently, it read something it didn't like or something like that. Barely made it home for our show and then tried to do some creative writing about electricity. How boring is that!? We were proud of our work and are now awaiting our grade!

It was raining this morning, but sun is promised this afternoon. We won't review the weekend forecast!

Btw, it took me 2 hours to type this!

Welcome Kathy! We welcome people from any state, but especially our Missouri friends! I have seen you around, but I don't think we have ever talked before. Jump on in and visit with us for a while.

We will try to avoid the "s" word, charmed and I have already had many a discussion about it and were tired of it here a long time ago!

I haven't seen ours in their pool yet this year, but we haven't had too many warm days. Colton did peel the ice off a week or so ago, but ours are like yours. They are absolutely in heaven with the mud. They just go at it like a kid would in their first snow! They love to look for their cat food treats in the mud also! Silly birds! I am getting so impatient to get our new babies. Maybe the end of the week!

I hope your girls are feeling better. Maybe they have a touch of "spring fever"? I know I do!!

Good Morning! We still haven't even made our appointment yet. Last year we finally just did them ourselves, started late on April 14th, but got them in the mail the next morning. I don't know why we put it off. Hubby plows the tax man's lot, so he does ours for free. We just don't get around to it.
