Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

That brooder looks a lot like the one my boys built, only yours is much nicer! Ours was made out of scraps to begin with and then sat outside in the weather all winter, so looks a little beat up, but still works just fine! Your keets are beautiful! But, just wait, they will grow into their ugliness soon enough! Colton and I actually talked about rehoming ours. We can't let them out because of the neighbor's dog and it isn't fair to have them penned all the time. They are hubby's, so we will have to talk to him about it first.

I love the one of the pets "babysitting"! Our garage kitty was so glad when we moved the turkeys out for her to take care of. She immediately jumped on it and took her place to guard them.

And the pic of Raymond is priceless!

My babies are going to get UGLY!

Its too bad you may have to rehome yours, but I do understand why. I am hoping ours show our dogs who is boss!

Thanks! I love my new brooder. Did you ever figure out why your hubby was being so nice? BTW how is hubby today? Did he stay home from work?

Hubby is doing better, he was resting when I got home, but shortly after had to run out to fix someone's tractor and then a vehicle that showed up while we were gone. I think he made Colton do most of the work and supervised. He went back to work, of course. I knew it wouldn't keep him down long. He is still a little stiff necked, but said he felt much better when he went to bed.

Heck yes, your babies will get uglier as they get bigger!

But like any good momma, you will love them anyway!

Thanks girls! I am very proud of Raymond. He has a huge heart. I am not sure how he turned out so sweet, but I am glad he did. Also he has a very good friend that stands up for him when some *&^% kid is picking on him. This friend, Jerry, scared the poop out of some kid in the lunch room after he made fun of Raymond when he was having trouble getting food on his tray at lunch. This same kid had to "inform" a new kid last year that Raymond was not retarded and that he was pretty sure this new kid doesn't have the "boy parts" to fly over a 60 foot cliff and live to talk about it!

I think it is so wonderful that Brandi is getting more time with her family. How is she doing?

I am glad your hubby is feeling better. Mine is a grump butt when he is sick or sore.

Charmed, don't be too jealous! We both know why he built it for me!!

How very sweet for Raymond to have friends that stand up for him! I am very familiar with the age and realize they are very curious creatures, especially when it comes to friendships. There is such a huge difference between boys and girls at that age. Destiny and I often talk about this. We have seen the boys interact and it really cracks me up how they can not really say a whole lot, but still feel close. Girls feel the need to discuss everything in their lives, boys don't have that urge, but yet they are still good friends. Destiny still laughs at the time she was with Colton and he stopped to talk to a couple of friends. She said it was the strangest, shortest conversation she had ever witnessed and when they pulled away and she said something to Colton he just shrugged and said "those are my brothers right there!"

After experiencing both sides, I would take a boy again any day over an emotional, crying girl!

Brandi is still at the Hope Lodge, she has to stay there for 100 days so she can make daily trips to the doctor and if all goes well, she will get to come home after that. While she is there she can have her hubby and girls stay on weekends or whenever they want to visit. So far everything is going just fine.

My hubby is usually grumpy when he is sick too, but he was a good boy yesterday. Colton came to see me after school and when I told him dad was home and what was going on, I don't think he wanted to go home! He kinda hesitated and asked when I would be there. I laughed and told him it was okay, dad was in a good mood, so went on to check on him!

Did you get your guinea eggs in the bator?

I know what you mean, boys are weird! When Raymond has friends out they don't talk! They sit and play video games or watch a movie. If we go on a trip they listen to separate I pods. Then when I ask if they had fun. Oh yea Mom "so and so" had so much fun he wants to stay next weekend!

Thats funny that Colton was hesitant to go home!

I did set my eggs yesterday afternoon

I can't get the humidity up where it should be though. It finally came up from 33 last night to 44 now. I have tried everything I can think of and it isn't working. I guess I need to just be more patient! Yea That'll happen!

Lunch? You just reminded me that I am starving

Let me think on it..................

I was starving too, but couldn't decide on anything. Jimmie and Tonna always

when I ask them what they want. So, Destiny and I wander through the store trying to come up with something. Today we came back with chicken patties, pork and beans and chips. Little Debbie's star crunch and fudge graham cookies for dessert. Wasn't exactly what I wanted, but it was all we came up with. We do a lot of chili dogs, fried bologna, lunch meat and tuna. I just want something different!!

I looked up some recipes for you!

Also...skillet Spaghetti

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
•28-oz. jar pasta sauce
•1-1/2 cups water
•24 frozen precooked meatballs
•12 oz. spaghetti pasta, broken in half
•1/2 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
•1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation:
In 12" skillet, combine spaghetti sauce and water and stir to combine. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Add meatballs and spaghetti and stir well, making sure spaghetti is under the sauce, completely covered in it. If necessary, you can add another 1/4 to 1/2 cup of water. Stir alot to seperate spaghetti strands.
Bring to a boil again, cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring frequently. You may add more water or tomato sauce if the mixture appears to be too dry. Cook until spaghetti is al dente and meatballs are hot. Top with cheese and serve immediately. Serves 4

You can substitute a pound of hamburger for the meatballs...just brown the burger first.
