Okay, now I get it! That is a nice little set up! They should be happy with that! Are you going to eventually let them free range? I can't remember what we discussed.

I will need to get pics of our new turkey hut. Did I ever post pics of our guinea set up? I also need to type out the Maddie story to share.

Thanks for all the compliments everyone. She is being cute right now, cuddling with her Angel bear. I will post that pic soon too. Still no more news on the other one and no more pips.

I forgot about the Big Sky view

I will take a few scenic pictures for you. It really is pretty country. The other side of us you can see the mountains and that can be so beautiful.

No Michelle I haven't seen your G set up yet. I would love pics if you have any. Are you still considering rehoming yours? I am hoping that bench will be a sufficient roost inside their house. It seems awful big for just the 3 so far. How many do you think could live in there? I am planning on free ranging them.

NY they are supposed to be good bug control and also double as guard dogs. They will alert you if any one or anything is on your property. Michelle has some too!

So what is the deal with Maddie? Do you like her?

I will try to remember to get some pics taken of our guinea set up. I also need to take some new ones of those little furball kitties! They just keep getting cuter daily!

We haven't talked anymore about rehoming ours. I would think you could put a pile of them in there if you are going to free range. They would just need a place safe to roost at night if you are even going to close them up in the evenings. Tonna's are truly free ranged, meaning they have a shelter they can go to if they want, but she doesn't close them up at all. They roost in trees, on the house, wherever they want.

Have you had tick problems yet? Man they are thick around our place! I haven't gotten around to treating the cats yet and it seems they are covered in them!

Maddie wasn't exactly what I pictured her to be. She showed up in a short, short skirt and a blouse with a spaghetti strap tank (the blouse didn't last long) and her friend in shorty shorts. She has a nose ring and she smokes. She is visiting with her friend when the boys aren't around (just me standing there) and asked her "so what is your cousin doing tonight?" Her friend responds with "Well, not you since you are here tonight". Talk about awkward. Then they discussed their liquor drinking skills. Not to mention her clothes left nothing to the imagination! I was mortified! It was at that point that I realized just how old I had gotten. I thought I was prepared for anything, that I was a "cool" mom, but that all went out the window Friday night! Then she calls Colton and Justin Saturday night at 10:45 to tell them she didn't have to be home until 3am and she was coming to Trenton to see them! We let Colton go to town, she was late getting there, so she met him at the house and stayed until around 1. Yesterday he told me he wasn't very happy with her and was trying to figure her out. It made me really chuckle to hear him say that. I told him to ask his dad if he didn't believe me, but it would do him no good trying to figure out girls! haha Anyway, he says if she hasn't seen him for a while, she is really nice, but if she has seen him lately then she is mean. He is already talking about meeting another girl he has been texting.

Yes me too! He is such a good, well raised young man. He does not need a hoochy Mama! I hope he moves on too. I would have felt the same way Michelle.

I have to admit, Kenny and I had the whole weekend to ourselves so we got into the wine a little early.

I read that text and thought the same thing, Maddie? Maddie who? The next morning I started laughing when I recalled the text. Oh hell, I know who Maddie is!! So Charmed your excuse can be that you're old if you want it to be, but I prefer to say, I was drunk!! (oh and you are not old , we aren't too far behind you)

Good morning!! The wind is blowing already!! We are expecting 60 mph plus gust up to 80. Hey, who knows, if it is blowing the right direction I could end up in MO today!!

How is everyone this morning?

Good Morning! Funny you should say that. As I was laying in bed this morning I heard the weatherman say whatever is in Montana will eventually end up in Missouri or something like that!

So, I was thinking of you first thing this morning! And it is supposed to be windy here today too!

Well, we lost a turkey last night, but the rest are doing fine. When we got home yesterday Destiny told me we had lost one, but I was outside busy with stuff, so I just told hubby to get rid of it. I didn't see what was wrong with it or if it had been picked on and they didn't pay attention either. It wasn't until late (obviously) that I made it in to take care of the brooders and discovered the problem. I have never had any pick on each other before, so I don't even have a red bulb to put in. We did some fancy moving and set up another brooder for the "emergency room". We will see how it goes.

Gotta go for a bit, be back soon!
