That would be great! That is what I need, motivation! Hubby is 6'3 and 170, same as the day I met him and still skinny as a rail! I am 5'2 or 2 and getting a belly. I would realistically like to lose about 40 pounds, which would put me right in your range. But I really like food. And my mountain dew. Way too much. Girls, if I could lose weight and quit smoking I would be an extremely happy camper!!

I'm gone for a few hours and you guys are telling everyone what you weigh?!!!!!

Have you you three lost your minds?!!

I guess, since I am the oldest.....I will have to teach you what you can and can't talk about! I did tell you how old I was...you have forgotten!! Ha!

I decided this weekend I was going on a diet when my DD leaves so I will be skinnier when I go to her graduation in Feb and surprise her. Let's do it!!!
NY..I hope you're not scaring the cabin people with all that shootin'!!!

My MIL and FIL are both deceased now and I will have to say I miss them both. My MIL was full blooded Italian and had her own way of doing things. I learned to "go with the flow" when she was around and do things her way. It didn'tt hurt anything and kept the peace. I use to get so exasperated with her at times, but I gotta tell you, I really miss her.

Oh....BTW.......I need to quit smoking too. I quit for a week after mom died but took it back up again.

I knew you had told us your age, but I didn't want to go back through 100+ pages to find it and I didn't write it down!

Let's see, I bet it is posted somewhere around my birthday!

I didn't mean to tell my weight, she forced me! And if I weighed what she did, I would tell everyone also! Besides, if we all do ever get together, no point in hiding it! Maybe by admitting it, it will motivate me a bit more. If I cut back my mountain dew, that alone would help tremendously. But, it is like an addiction and I have to be really disciplined about it. We have also set up an exercise room in the basement, so I don't have a good excuse. I know what I need to do. I just don't do it.

And the smoking, I have really cut back lately, but not brave enough to take the plunge. Thinking about it more and more lately. But then again, I would probably gain more weight if I did!

That will teach you for leaving us alone for so long!

No wonder we love each other!

I have never smoked but for me food is a nasty habit! I love to grow it, shop for it, cook it, serve it and eat it! Everything in my life revolves around food.

I know what you mean about not having an excuse to not lose weight. I also know what I should do. I feel guilty every time I wipe the dust from the stair master taking up valuable space in my living room. We have a tiny trailer house so I can't get away from it!!!

I can and have lost weight before. I just can't find the motivation. I had an issue years ago, like NY it was when I split with my DH. That was my first DH and we did eventually divorce after I got down to 85 pounds. I never want to do that again but I wish I knew how it happened so I could lose the 25 pounds I need to! DH and I have been together for 3 years and I have gained 20 pounds!

I sold that stair master so I wouldn't have to clean the dust anymore! seriously! There is no excuse but my DH sabatoges me-I swear coming home with Yuengling and M&M's everynight! I would love to lose 10-I'd be happy with 10 because then I wouldnt have to throw out or give away most of my clothes! That 10 pounds was the difference between my size 4's to 8's -My sister is a childrens 12! shes 39-and looks 12! seriously-
