Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

Like the other girls said NO! You are not the only one. I am a year older than you and am in the same leaky boat as you! We have been trying desperately to pay of CC bills incurred when DS got hurt, not to mention medical bills, and yes it has been 2 years and we are still under water! Things get better, then one of us has to go to the DR or a pet get sick or its time to buy propane or (like last week) the gauges go out in the pickup. So we will be making payments to the mechanics(thank God for small town courtesy) for 6 months!

When I moved here I owned a home in a town 2 hours away. It has been on the market now for over a year and a half. We finally had to rent it because paying the utilities on it was just more than we could do. We didn't want to rent it out as we had just filled it with 11 thousand dollars of new paint, carpet and vinyl flooring! Which of course we had to borrow to be paid back when the darn thing sells.

chickenchick--I was hoping things were better with your son, I am sorry it is not. I didn't have much of a chance to talk to Colton last night by the time we all got home from the game. He was cold and muddy and just took a bath and went to bed. But, he seems to be in good spirits, so that is a plus. He will have school all day and then practice, so maybe I can talk to him tonight. I am glad that you guys had a great time this weekend. It sounds like so much fun!

Edited to say: Hey Tanya! Our problems could be worse!

I am glad Colton is in good spirits today. Raymond seemed to be ok when he left for school too. I just pray they both have great girl free days!!

I can happily say that for once I'm glad to be the oldest among us! My kids are grown with familys of their own except for the youngest. This is why you have kids while your young cuz you can't deal with it when your older!!! I have hauled more stuff out to the garage and will attempt another sale tomorrow and Thurs. Suppose to be nice weather tomorrow but rain on Thurs. I hope it holds off! I need to get off here and mark some stuff. Wish you all were closer. This stuff is going cheap and it's kinda neat stuff. Glass everthing! Dishes, bowls, vases, music boxes etc..I will try to take a pic of it before the sale tomorrow so you will get the gist of what I'm talking about. LOTS OF STUFF!!

I just got back from an auction Tonna talked me into going. She didn't get anything she wanted but we did come home with some crap. Hubby is going to be thrilled when I come through the door with the ugly red velvet chair for Destiny's room and the floor lamp I got!

I can't resist a good bargain!

Get out the rain gear and hope you don't drown!! Don't you have a pretty yellow rain hat?

I saw we have a 60 percent chance of rain Thurs. I will talk to the rain gods for both of us to hold off the rain for awhile!!!

Well, since you mentioned it, I do have my fair share of rain gear from past games! And Mom did buy my sister, Des and I Mizzou rain coats for Christmas last year. (just the little cheap ones, but they will do the trick). I am just whining because our seats are up really high, my parents are older, so us girls are going to have to get them, their cushions, blankets AND rain gear now safely up to the seats. For both of our sakes, let's pray for no rain!!

Snow??

I am really not ready for that! Bad enough I didn't park in the garage last night and had frost on my windows! I knew it was a cold morning when I put Thunder out and all the cats were lined up to come in the house! I had 6 I had to round up before I left this morning! (and some of those don't even ever come in). I checked the forecast for Columbia, 100% chance of heavy rain tomorrow and 90% chance of heavy rain tomorrow night.

Good news is, we have a hotel room, so if worse comes to worse, we will just stay there and watch it on tv!

So, I talked a little to Colton last night. (what I could get out of him). He still talks to the girl, but I don't think he is as into her as he was. She did leave her boyfriend and is now scared of him. I guess the kid was in court yesterday for assaulting a previous girlfriend and rumor has it he hit another ex when she broke up with him. Colton said he told her he would defend her, but not throw the first punch or start any trouble. So, sounds like he may be having it under control. I haven't seen anger like I did before.

I have exciting news!! Hubby went to Tonna's last night to visit with her hubby and while he was there, Kip called to ask Kenny for Cara's hand in marriage! So, we will have a wedding to plan! Tonna is a nervous type anyway, so I am going to have to be the one to keep her grounded! Today is Cara's 21st birthday, but we weren't expecting the ring until Christmas, so it was a little surprise for us! I also think it was sweet of him to ask dad first, but he always said he would do it that way!

NY--Are you feeling better??
