I am making myself some flannel granny gowns for winter.

I couldn't pass up the Tupperware gift sets and towels sets. Much faster and less expensive than making something.

Now I can concentrate on making aprons for an upcoming Christmas Craft Fair. I have been cranking out aprons like mad.

My Mom has always sewn stuff, but I have always hated to. Until I got on BYC. Change of heart. Mom was thrilled and went out and bought me a sewing machine. Now I have to remember how to use it! She hasn't brought it over yet, but I am going to have to get it soon and try to make some use of it!

I am with you Iowa Roo Mom! I can't resist buying pjs. I have maybe a half a dozen pairs of shoes. Just the basic to get by on. (not counting my flip flops) but after recently remodeling our bedroom and putting stuff away in the new closet, I didn't realize how many pjs I owned! (and bought a new pair just a few weeks ago!). It is almost an art to pick out what pair to wear each night according to weather and how long one will be in them!

Good Monday Morning! We won our football game Friday night! Silly as this may sound, if we win our final game on Thursday, we go to the play offs! But, I wouldn't count on it. Colton also got scout player of the week for the team, so he was pretty excited about it. It is basically the best underclassman of the week.

Hello everyone!!! It took me 10 mins to catch up with all the gossip!!
Michelle!! Thanks for the pm.. Congrats to Colton!!! I will be thinking happy thoughts for them to get into the playoffs!!
The Halloween party went really well. I ended up with 20 grownups and kids!! In my little house! We had an assortment of dips and I made a big pot of chili. The weather was great! We bobbed for apples, had a pumpkin relay, an egg relay and a mummy race with toilet paper! It was a fun day. Everyone couldn't get over how tame my hens were. We had a table set up outside to carve pumpkins on. While we were all busy, one of my girls jumped up right in the middle of the table. I thought my cityfide son in law was going to have a heart attack!! It was a fun day. I have some pics I will post after lunch! I missed you all!
