Good Morning! We have cloudy and 44, but the rain is hopefully gone until at least the weekend!

Supper turned out well. We made Shake and Bake BBQ chicken, mac and cheese and corn. Then we settled in to watch American Idol and off to bed early. No walk. I still didn't feel the best and it was still raining.

We worked on our idea for the screenplay for a while. We are still just throwing things out to work with and are going to try to organize our thoughts better tonight on index cards (I

index cards) while we are watching basketball. Thinking of going with a psychic sort of thing instead of time travel. She has a vision he is murdered, his job leads them to this creepy town and they have to figure out who is trying to kill him and why before it is too late. A little corny, but that is kinda what we are feeling at the time.

NY--Hang in there! You will make it! It will be totally worth it!

quiet--That town for some reason, creeps us out when we go through. Something about those big buildings with the vines growing on it and all. It is a small place, about 200 people, the highway goes right through it, but we have never been brave enough to stop. It seems like right at city limit cell phone service disappears and I swear one time we drove through and a black cloud followed us from one end of town to the other. We always joke about it and make up stories about it anyway, so might as well write about it.

Your supper sounds so good. My chicken turned out good too. I thought it had a little to much red pepper in it but everyone else liked it.

We watched Idol too. I am so loving having TV again, but don't tell Kenny! I watch Wife Swap or Trading Spouses while I am on the Stair Master.

I can't find any other pics of the actual town and to be honest, I have never went off the highway to see it! It is just a joke between Destiny and I that it is the "black hole of the earth". When the cloud thing happened we had my MIL and friend with us and were telling them how creepy it was and sure enough that cloud followed us thru! It was sunny right before we entered and came back as we left. If you come visit, we will take a trip up there and maybe we would be braver to explore it.

We would like to have some pics of the different places around there to help with our story anyway.

I am feeling some better. I slept good again last night. It must have been rainy enough that they let the dog stay inside, because our dogs didn't bark even once.

You have TV again?!

Someone to talk Idol to? Who are your favorites and not so favorites?

ETA--I think we can incorporate chickens in the story somehow!!

We had the appraisal yesterday, so if everything falls into place, we should close permanent financing in about 2 weeks. We are moving our stuff in this weekend..

We just got Satellite again. We got a flyer for a good deal. I strategically placed it where Kenny would see it for 3 days in a row. Finally I handed it to him, "Honey did you see this?"

It worked!! Raymond of course was ecstatic

So I have only seen Tuesday nights and last nights Idol. I like the carpet girl, Crystal, I think is her name. I am not to fond of Miley being considered a mentor. Come on, most of her success is because of her Dad and there are many more veteran performers they could have used. However Raymond liked her super short shorts! Who is your favorite? Oh and the young kid with the blue eyes, I like him too!

Okay, we will agree to disagree. Crystal is one that I just don't like. I don't get what is so special about her. I think Siobhan really has talent, she is quirky, but man she can hit some wicked notes! I also like Aaron, the young blond. But, wow, Casey is beautiful! He can sing the phone book and Destiny and I swoon over him!! I have notes if you need to catch up on anything. We take our Idol VERY seriously! As far as Miley goes, I am a geek and one of her biggest fans! I do watch Hannah Montana and love her song The Climb. I understand this week was supposed to been teen idol week but for some reason they changed it, so I guess that is why they brought her in. I never was and still not impressed with her live, she just doesn't have that part down yet.
