Hunting!! We hunt deer, not antelope, that is just because Kenny says he won't eat it and I have never had it. HOWEVER, we have tons of Antelope here, and by here I mean right in my back yard. We gave permission to an older couple to hunt our land a few years ago. The husband has since gotten really sick and we never see them. SO... come on out! Oh my! How much fun would that be!

Michelle you and your family pack up too! If I have to I will have Kenny pull our camper up next to the house and we will have ourselves a RedNeck Super 8 right in the front yard! Complete with a hot tub and fire pit!

I was trying to tread carefully since I don't know the history there, but as you can see, I let it all out anyway! I understand exactly what you are saying, not cold hearted, just wiser! Be careful, be a friend, but remember her problems are not YOUR responsibility.

Hunting! I have never hunted anything a day in my life. Closest I ever came was when the neighbor's dog kept coming in the yard and hubby pulled up when I was sitting in the front yard drinking iced tea with a BB gun draped over my lap. It scared the crap out of him!! I have shot a gun before, but he isn't a hunter and my dad didn't think I would be quiet enough to take (imagine that

) So the opportunity has never come up. Freddie has offered to teach us, so we may take him up on it and head out! Shoot, he would probably love to hunt antelope, we may bring him too! Actually if it is mostly just gas and help with the food, it might be a pretty affordable trip!

I almost choked on my tea reading your BB gun story!! How funny! I don't shoot but I do go with him. He even has me holding the deer while he guts it.

I just don't look! I think I told you we have a grinder and everything, so we could have it all processed and ready to send home with you

Bring anyone you want! Kenny said the season usually starts the third week in October, it is about the same time as deer season. Yea ya know when you are just talking gas and a little food it wouldn't be too bad. Can you imagine how much fun it would be if the three of us AND our families got together! Craziness!!

I did try and call A and she didn't answer. So I sent a carefully worded response to her email. We will see if I hear from her again.

Kenny won't be home until about the time Idol starts, so he says to me on the phone, I guess we will be eating supper in front of the TV? Well heck ya!!

This is Kenny and I doing the happy dance last night!! Raymonds progress report came in the mail yesterday. He has done a wonderful job of bringing up his grades. They are not great but it shows that he has had to make an incredible effort and we are very proud of him. He even earned his I pod back. He was thrilled. It was pretty funny because he saw the envelope on the counter but he didn't ask because he didn't want to hear it! (He told me that this morning) . I had called Kenny and told him the good news. So he gets home and says your Mom and I have to talk to you about something. I grabbed the report off of the counter and you could just see him go white as a ghost! He said we just don't know what to do with you, we talk and talk to you about your grades, ........ Poor Raymond is just sweating bullets so I hand him his report while trying to keep a straight face! He slowly reads it, then the smile starts to creep up. I did it! I did it!! Then Kenny handed him his Ipod back and told him how proud we were.. He was so happy

I know, its evil to tease him

but it was so cute!!

I am just now making it to work. I decided to take care of one of the things I had been procrastinating on, had to go to Princeton and it was closer to just go from home then come on down to work, so that is what Destiny and I did this morning. I had to pick up their graduation salutes to get them started this weekend.

Turkeys seem to be doing fine, no more casualties yet. I think the red bulb is doing the trick! I still have Tonna's ducks I need to take to her. It has been a week. We are getting attached. Goodness knows I don't need 4 extra ducks. Me wanting to add 2 to the flock turned into 6 already! I justify the 2 to add and the 2 to replace, but we still have 2 extra! Poor Frank just sits by the edge of his pen looking longly at the little ones in the pen not far away. I think he is picking out his future girlfriend! I thought he was happy with the geese, but now that he has spotted the new flock, he is really wanting to be with them. I am thinking maybe by fall.

I was really thinking it would be Casey last night, so I was relieved to have him another week. I will miss Aaron, but he will be fine. Des and I were chanting "go home big Mike!" during the break, we got so loud that Thunder started barking at us! I am looking forward to the songs from movies week next week.

Jimmie went out to check on Colton and Justin who are still clearing brush at the tower and Maddie was out there. I hadn't heard anything about her this week, so I was surprised. My first question was "is she going to get ticks in her you who?"

Hubby said believe it or not she actually was fully dressed! Colton didn't get home until 10 and I asked him how it went and he said fine, so that's all I got. Had I known she was there, I would have gone out there.

Oh isn't that the truth!! My Dad told me that when I was in my 20s and I thought he was nuts. I told Kenny that when we got together and he thought I was nuts!! Now just the other day he says, as I get older ot seems like time flies by so fast

Ya think!! Our school is out June 2nd. Raymond is thrilled! I have mixed feelings because Raymond spends his summers in Havre. Next year with his drivers license he should be here more because he will need a job, at least in the summer. But I guess he could choose to work in Havre
