I thought she was kind of rude.

Oh come on Des, let loose!! I know you have more

She couldn't even read the menu or order for herself?! I had a friend who would do that for her husband, turns out he couldn't read!!

And she told us how nasty our food was... And didn't thank us for paying for her meal

Okay, Des hasn't filled in much so I will start it. She wouldn't read her menu. She asked Colton what was on it that was chicken. He and I read it all off to her and she told him she wanted grilled chicken. The waitress (Misty) stood right beside her and she whispered to Colton what she wanted so Colton could holler over her and tell Misty what she wanted. They also sat right beside each other and texted under the table through most of the meal. When our food came she told Colton how disgusting his hamburger looked and informed us she didn't like beef. She also looked right past Colton and said "and for whoever is eating steak, I don't like it either." They she looked me in the eye and said "And I definitely don't like bbq!" I swear she had an evil look in her eye when she said it. Now, folks, we eat a lot of beef in our house and bbq is one of our favorites. How rude. Then something was mentioned about drinking. She said "I don't drink, I concentrate on being a good student and getting good grades." I said "how unfortunate because Destiny could do both!" I know she is lying because Colton has told us she occasionally goes out and drinks with her friends! She wants to go into Sports Medicine post graduation. The funniest part of the night was when Misty brought her a glass of water without a straw. She asked for one and then Misty came over and whispered in my ear "I purposely didn't give her one because I figured if she could suck on his neck like that, she could suck that drink right out of the glass without a straw!" I about choked and fell off my chair! After an ample awkward time, they left and she didn't even say thank you for supper. Colton comes home later and says "you didn't like her very well, did you?" I told him it was hard to tell and he told me I didn't act like I did.

Thanks! It was a fun project. I like it when you get it done in a day or 2. Now the kitchen/livingroom painting project I am NOT looking forward too

Good work.

I'm sure there is someone out there who deserves vampire girl. Hopefully Colton will see the light soon. The straw thing was just too funny!

I'm really struggling to wake up this morning. I think I'm just about there now that my 2nd cup of coffee is in my system. Next battle is to wake the teen up (always a problem...)

Thank you! Raymond and I are the only ones who like it, and you peeps!!

As far as Vampire Girl, forgive me if this has been said already, but SHE NEEDS TO GO

How incredibly rude!! The whole thing but the texting and not saying thank you. Holy cow, who raised, or should I say, didn't raise this child? Surely Colton sees these things

She sounds like a prissy, bossy, snooty, little b****!

The important thing about this girl is that she is nothing like Colton. I don't even know what they have in common. (please refrain from comments, lol) I am sure she is right for someone, but not him. She is cute enough, but the personality thing bombed. The very few times she opened her mouth she should have kept it shut. I am sure she was nervous, but we were all very pleasant and left her many opportunities to join in. Appropriately. I also almost lost it when hubby says "So, what do you do for fun, entertainment?" I quickly jumped in jokingly saying "keep in mind we are parents, lol" "Well, I don't have much time for fun between concentrating on my grades and working."

I am sure she was nervous but that is no excuse to be rude!

Sorry I am in and out this morning. Brenda is coming for lunch so I need to get the cleaning done I didn't do yesterday. I spent yesterday baking for Zach. My MIL just called and offered to take me to the city for lunch and shopping and I had to turn her down

I could really use that sort of therapy today.
