Good Morning Everyone! Sunny here today but cool. I have a batch of Apple pie moonshine on the stove so if my day doesn't go well, I know something that will make it better! Lol! (Thanks Tanya!)

Michelle...It's almost like Thunder gets PMS once in awhile! I hope he calms down for you.

Tex...I'm envious of your trip. DH and I took a trip on a motorcycle years ago. Went down through southern Missouri and Arkansas over through Okla and up through Kansas over a 3 day weekend. Had a blast! Hope your trip is fun and safe!

I went out last night with Eddie to lock up the chickens. (Eddie is a Jack Russell and this is one of his "chores" ) He went into the chickenhouse last night and started throwing a fit. There in one of the nesting boxes was a possum. It had just got dark. I can't believe it was out sooo early! Anyway, Eddie kept it busy and I went in with a shovel and between the 2 of us, we got it out of the chickenhouse. By the time I got back around after securing the peeps, I really thought Eddie had killed it. He was really crunching down on it hard. But lo and behold, it was gone this morning. I'm gonna set the trap tonight and see what I get.

Michelle it sounds like you accomplished a lot last night! Thats they way it works around here when I start a fire, the wind comes up. We burn most of our garbage. I get a little nervous in the summer when it is dry around here. We do have a grate on it , but I don't like to burn when Kenny is not home. I can't drive the water truck, Charmed and Michelle haven't come her to teach me yet

So I would just have to watch it burn the field

No Ordinary Family is about this family that was in a plane crash and landed in some tainted water. They all acquired a super power. It sounds lame and I had no interest in it. BUT Kenny recorded it and told me to just try it, so I did. The Dad is the guy who used to play The Commish, a cop show from a long time ago. I always liked him. Anyway it turns out to be a pretty good program, a little serious and entertaining at the same time. They have 2 teenage children, she is a Scientist and he is a crime artist. It comes on on tuesdays.

It has been a while since we heard of Thunder getting himself in trouble! I can't believe he bit YOU! I hope Charmed is right and it is just doggie PMS.

Thank you for voting! She is in Colton's class and the daughter of my judge friend Steve. She is a sweet girl who got to go play softball in Italy for a couple weeks this summer.

Hey all! I'm back on page 1222. I haven't disappeared, just no time for fun this week! (Two sets of company, finals in some classes, midterms in other classes, hundreds upon hundreds of tests and papers in the grading stack, plus some fall tasks I want to finish before it gets colder. Joy.)

I may not be on much til next week. I'll need the Cliff's notes (or Sparks Notes) version when I get back, though!
