I leave for the game at 5 and hopefully home between 11-12, then I have to completely clear out the truck so the goats don't destroy any of it and I just told Colton I would get up at 6 with him to load. He is taking the girls too, just texted me. I also need to pack all their "stuff" to take with them. Then I have to "worry" about them during the parade while Colton has them, because of course no one can take care of them like Mama does!

I will try to take pics so you can see them at the festival enjoying all the kids, Jasper head butting the little ones, Nester screeching at them, etc. It should be a fun day!

So, I mentioned briefly in another post that we are getting closer to our kitchen remodel. I am excited but yet it has already started the arguments. Anything we agreed to before is out the window and then hubby had the nerve to tell me "I know you think all my ideas are stupid, but hear me out..." Then he follows up by telling me how ridiculous my ideas are! I say whoever gets possession of the house in the divorce gets to decide how to remodel it because that is exactly where it is headed before we hardly even get started!

You should tell hubby you want a false wall, and when he asks why tell him you may need a place to hide his body if he keeps arguing with you!

It is funny, but it's not! It is like every time I say something he treats me like I have spoken in tongues.

He will ask my opinion on something (everything actually), I tell him what I would like and then he tells me why my choice is dumb and this is what we should do instead. It is everything from paint to appliances to flooring and everything in between that we can't agree on. When I throw up my hands and agree it makes him mad.

So it will be interesting how it will all turn out. At this point, I think I will just come stay with you for a couple of weeks and then come back when he is done.

This is why I haven't pushed it in the last year since we first started talking about it. One of my biggest obstacles with him is that he doesn't like color and wants to put up more walls. I want the complete opposite. Anyway, we (Des and I) are thinking of a John Deere themed kitchen and a "farm" themed living room. Surprisingly that is the single thing he doesn't argue about!

I am kinda excited about tomorrow if we can pull it all off. I gotta go run my errands for a little bit and will be back.

I understand what you mean, mine can be pretty darn opinionated when he wants to be too. Sometimes he just refuses to really hear what I am trying to say. Then later he will have an ahha moment! I am lucky in the color department, Kenny will let me paint any color except yellow, whether he likes it or not. The riff between us is someday I want an actual house and he keeps saying he would be happy to stay in this trailer if we put a basement under it. That just isn't what I see when I picture the future. This place is too generic for me, not homey no matter what I try. So we disagree! I love the John Deere idea and I love big open spaces which is why I hate this place!!

I am busy running interference around here. It is hectic as can be today! I am also arguing via text with Colton on his way to the game about the animals. This is what he sends me "I am only providing the animals, they are taking care of them for me. I am going dropping them off and going to the parade." Nope. Wrong answer! "You don't trust Mrs. Kreatz and Mr. Wolf?" "Yes, I don't trust Jasper." So, Jasper is going to the parade with me and then we will join the other animals out there afterwards. He will love it along with all the candy being thrown!

Yep! They are good kids for the most part, so it shouldn't be *too* bad

I got the salad done and decided to tweak my Apple Bread recipe top make it diet friendly. I just used the same substitutes the WW Z bread recipe had. SO I it should be about 3 points per slice. Kenny loves to take bread in his lunch and the apple was is favorite. I hope he likes this

I will try a little when it cools off. So tomorrow when I get home in the afternoon I will bake the boys their cookies. I just got a text from the other nephew, the one in Washington ( the one that stayed with us) he wants to come live with us so I can cook for him every day
