Sometimes I wonder how I got so lucky! He also makes Eggs Benedict for me on Mothers Day and my Birthday and any other time I ask. The Taco shell recipe was actually my Dads. He would make them when we had Tacos when I was a kid, it made it a special family supper. I alwyas asked for them on my birthday just to see my Dad in the kitchen. It just reminded me of being a kid. My Dad died when I was 30, he made them for me that year. So now Taco Night is special because my husband uses my Dad recipe.

The story behind Kenny and I started when Raymond was a baby. His friend worked at the same place I did. Him and I met when he was 17 and I was 24/25!! Then my husband and I moved back to our hometown when Raymond was 2, we divorced a year later. When Raymond was 11 I moved back here and within the first month Kenny and I had ran into each other and started dating , 4 years later, here we are!

So on the way home last night I told Raymond our idea about taking this girl to lunch for her Birthday. He starts laughing and says, "yea cuz thats not cheesy"

What?! What do you mean cheesy? Us girls decided it would be a great idea, informal and nice at the same time. He is still laughing hysterically like I am the funniest comedian on the planet, and then he says,... wait for it...



"YOU CRAZY OLD LADIES AND YOUR SILLY IDEAS! "

Can you believe that? I never could get him to tell me why that was such a weird idea. Des, any clue here?

I even told him that Des said it was a sweet idea and she is young! He still laughed. I told him to expect a text from her today, chewing him out!!

Have you gals seen this thread? I don't have FB but maybe you that do can check out Chicklettes page! This is a great article if oyu have the chance to read it. I can't believe this teacher would get away with this though

What's this about raymond thinking ya'll are a bunch of crazy old ladies? NOT, if he only knew what we know -- he would be king of all girls.
