And the Eagles beat the Colts

I don't mind the Colts, but you know I have to root for JMac

There was a nasty hit in that game .. I was surprised that they mentioned later that the guy was sitting up and talking in the locker room ..

He was OUT before he hit the ground .. and didn't move. Not even a finger wave on the stretcher when everyone was cheering .. really worried me..

Was it Nate Allen? I got a text saying they took him for x-rays on his upper back and neck.

As far as I know, we have the big banners to put up for the boys. I don't know what else there is to do. We have already hired someone to bbq brisket and make baked beans. Sr and Jr parents bring a side, Fr and So parents bring dessert. I think they just want another meeting to get together again! We have 60+ on the team and coach talks about each of them and way too long, but I usually enjoy the banquet. I hope you all have fun at yours!

I just called the school and told the office helper that Raymond has that check in his pocket! He is going to kill me for getting him called down to the office

I loved the McRib in HS but it has been forever since I have eaten at McDonald's. Raymonds Dad will eat one every day until they are gone!!

I wish I had taken pics but I didn't. On the way home I thought about it!! I packed the camera with good intentions. The hunting was a flop but we did go to a little tourist town on Saturday and go to a Antique/Junk store. Kenny bought Raymond a Vintage handheld Pac Man game. The we went to a flower shop top meet one of my Aunt's friends. I walked in and saw the plant of my dreams

When my Grandmother moved to the nursing home I moved all of her plants (all 35) to my house. My favorite was almost 6 feet long and looked like a bunch of peas on a string! Well, I killed it. So for all these years I have been on the look out for this plant but didn't know what it was called. When I made a b line for it the gal says oh you like the Strand of Pearl plants! Well, hello!! That name makes more sense than a bunch of peas on a string

So Kenny said we better have that. I came home with my plant and instructions on how NOT to kill it.

On the way home we were talking a little about Raymonds accident because we pass the turn off to the campground when going to and coming from my Aunts cabin. Surprisingly he said he was ready to see it. So we took a detour. We were afraid we may not be able to find it 3 years later. We came around a bend and I could not believe my eyes. My BIL had ripped a piece of his shirt off and tied it to a tree at the road so he would not lose Raymond when he went to get help. It was still there, through the forest fire and the winters.
Raymond was pretty quiet when we showed him where the ATV landed and where we carried him out at. He didn't say much but later i asked him if it was ok, he said it was just weird seeing where he could have died. He also said he didn't need to go back there again. I felt bad for taking him.

It's actually HOT outside today!

A sweatshirt & sweatpants were way too warm to wear while digging! (

Decided to dig a bit before starting my day. Maybe I can get a little more done this afternoon...)
