That was pretty much it. Except I also had 2 bottles of Gold Peak Tea and a 44 oz iced tea. Apparently the word gold in the Gold Peak is a serious matter! I tried to tell the lady that it didn't sound right and did she ring up the coupons for the 2 free ones? Yes she did and that is what her register told her. The first time it was $48 something and when she did it a second time it came up to $50+! Again, I tell her it doesn't sound right. So, she talks to me like I am a 2 year old. "The bacon cheeseburger one is $15.99" "Yeah, I got that" "The ckn bacon ranch is $15.99" "Yes, I got that too." "You get the other 2 free with your coupon" "Right, I am still with you, but you are telling me that 3 teas is $20?????? Listen to yourself Lady, does that sound right????"
This went on for way too long and the line was backed up all the way around the store by the time I finally got out of there. That trip 2 blocks away took us 45 minutes!!!
You know people cant add these days. If the register didn't tell them how much money to give back to customers, they would be lost!
