Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

Morning All!

Anyone watch the CMA's last night?
I did.

What do we have planed for the weekend?
I am heading to my mom's to spend with her and my sister Deb. We are going to do Spring cleaning in the Fall. Fun. We are call going to Mom's for Thanksgiving, first time since my dad died in '03. My mom is so excited to have us all there.

Here is a picture of mom's home.

And here she is. She is the one on the left, the other lady is Barb -- I call her my udder mudder. She and mom have been friends for over 45 years.

Good Morning!

Nat--I think your girls will have a wonderful Christmas with what you have picked out! You make me feel like such a slacker. I haven't even thought about what to buy for anyone yet this year!

Robin--We are cutting wood on Saturday with Colton supervising. We have people coming to help to finish up some projects he started before he got hurt. Then we are hoping to get some more work done on the kitchen. Your mom's place looks really nice and she looks like a sweet lady.

Here is a pic of my mom and big sis with Colton after a game

And, no, we didn't watch any of the CMAs.

I just love pictures. Colton is one strapping young man -- your mom and sis look very proud of him.

Nat sounds to me like you have bdays and Christmas under control. I have only started thinking about what to do for gifts.

HAPPY VETERANS DAY ALL

My dad served in the Navy for 21 years:

Thanks Dad, I miss you.

We are having a Veteran's Day call in show I am listening to right now. People call in to honor the Vets and it is really neat to listen to. My step dad is a Veteran also. I also love to drive through town on days like today with all the flags flying. My office window faces the courthouse and it is lined on all four sides with flags.

Power outage. SHUDDER. I need to start planning NOW for that. I'll have teeny tiny babies if the hatch goes well. (Tried candling but...hard to tell anything. Several looked pretty clear to me, which has me concerned to put it mildly!)

If none hatch, I'll try again but that'll get expensive quick, with shipped eggs and all. Need to plan for potential outages while they are brooding. Hmmm. I could put them in the car and warm the car up. I have a ventless propane heater. That is an option. I could also shut the cats in the bedroom and light a roaring fire in the fireplace, but that won't heat enough area or give an even heat. I'll have to think about this...
