Very cool that you sold that many eggs. I would love to do that at our Christmas stroll on Dec 4th but I don't have enough eggs. My girls are being lazy right now.

Rozz you doing okay today.

I lost a hen to a hawk today. Atleast that is what I am being told it was. I am at my moms and didn't get to see what was found. Said lots of feathers in one place but the hen lay in another, head and neck were pecked out. Sucks, no one knows my hens so they couldn't tell me which one it was. It was one of the game (redneck hens as I call them), not my princess ones. Either way I lost a hen, and am worried that a predator is out there and I am not home. Hopefully all will be okay till I get home.


cleaned and cleaned today. My mom is so proud, it is so worth every second.

Tanya the count down in on, are you going to be able to sleep tonight. Did you go with your MIL today?

anyone else helping with the page judging? I have been up to 30 pages. It's pretty addictive, you get to see more pages than you would any other time.

I hit the swap meet, four thrift stores, and two estate sales. I got ALL the rest of the small garden tools I'm needing for an awesome price -- a different type of digging shovel, hoe, rake, hand hoe, scraper, and a few other small tools fora bout $16. I got a new commercial mailbox for $10. two huge bags of candles for a total of $6, a room divider screen for $15, and a few other things. The candles weren't on my wishlist, but hey! I burn a lot of candles, so they'll get used. (OK justifying it. I wanted them, ROFL).

I won't go bargain hunting much in the winter. I'll just stop at an occasional estate sale or thrift shop. It's too cold in the winter to mess with the swap meet. Though, you get good bargains from the sellers who are hard up for cash then because not as many people come out! I just don't feel like going in the winter when it's nasty out (unless, of course, I'm hungry for taco stand food...)

Also got a bunch of produce for a great price. All in all a fun day!

I'll be back and forth. I need to clean my living room & maybe my dining room. I'm thinking of starting some holiday decorating. Tomorrow I have to spend pretty much the whole day grading tests & homework. Joy, Joy!

I did go with MIL today. We were gone all day, even got some shopping in. It was sort of fun, I Dont normally like to shop really but I found I was looking at clothing differently

I bought a pretty mint green really soft sweater and a pair of sexy black high heel clogs! Haven't share them with hubby yet. I still bargain shopped though and spent a total of $30

The Bday party was loud! But I enjoyed my day with the inlaws.

Thanks for the text, its like when you are a kid and you want to hurry up and go to bed so Santa will come
