Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

Hello, Robin! I'll be around now and then. Fighting another headache, though.

Ah Roz what cute chicks you have and they have to be girls against that pink.

I had the view of a full moon coming up tonight, was going to text a pic to Tanya, put the clouds rolled in couldn't. Was a great day today. Have to get up at 3:30 am to take DSD to airport so she can go spend the week with her mom and other family. Hope to get some shopping in and just have a great Sunday by myself.

Anyone else out there tonight?

Im soooo tired! OK all kids were gone by 1pm:) Had 9 girls from 11-15 yrs old here overnight-sent them home with full bellies and tired eyes! I left my girls home to clean up from al the fun! I left to go help a friend butcher 4 turkeys--WRONG...She had asked me if I knew anyone who would want to buy a turkey as she had 4 shes hadn't sold yet out of 40? SO I sold all of them for her-she offered me one if I would come and help butcher up the last of those turkeys. I figured meh..4 turkeys sure Ill help. I get there and I see a field of turkeys..A flipping field 24 of them. I said umm wow ummm wheres the 4 we are doing?? She says what are you talking about Nat I said I didnt sell 4 we have 24 to do!

I put my big girl panties on and grabbed a knife. The 3 guys manned the ax's and feather plucker-I did all the cavity cleaning -neck chopping off ( after the birds were dead) pulling crops out and legs of-puling remaining feather out-the other two women took birds into house and thouroughly washed dried and vacuumed packed them...I stood there for 4 hours doing the same routine PPPPEEEEEUUUUUUUUUU

I'm here. I worked my tail off in my basement this afternoon & evening.

I have been going to hang sheets across one end of the basement as a visual screen against stuff I have stored there. (It's an unfinished basement.) Well, a way to do it easily hit me today & off to Home Depot I went.

However, before going, I headed to an estate sale. Turns out I got something else I could use in the same way for less money (plus some other things, so of course I still spent more, HA HA). Ended up at two estate sales & a yard sale, plus one thrift shop. Got some good stuff.

Once it gets colder I won't go out shopping. I hole up for the winter! I'll hardly go to the grocery store, ROFL.

Anyway, the entire end of the basement is screen off & a bunch of stuff moved behind it that was elsewhere, plus the front area of the basement is nice and tidy. Spare cage is set up in case it's needed urgently to separate any birds...

All in all, good progress. I have a couple of rooms that are pretty untidy at the moment upstairs. If I get any oomph up, I might tidy those for a bit. I also need to do 15 minutes in the garage. May not be tonight. I wore myself out!

Thanks! Some of them are pretty good. Others are so-so. Quail babies are more sensitive than chicken babies. I didn't want to stress them out. As soon as they started cheeping / fussing, their photo session was over.

Yep! He came to me with the name "Rabbit." That's what he's been called for four years so...I guess he will continue to be called Rabbit. I have a feeling it'll transition to "Bunny" though.

The former owner had him for four years. He was probably a year old then. So, he's not a youthful bunny. He's a neutered male.
