Yes, I love the floors, and Yes, I would continue the stain throughout. It makes it look so rich and lush. I may even think about the doors too

He's scared of the doors...

I told him I was going to stain the backside of one of the closet doors so he could stand in there and look at it first.. lol.

then if he likes it, we'll go for it ...

He has to warm up to things .. sometimes it takes MONTHS ...

ooooh good idea, and then leave him in there until he agrees to do whatever you want.

I wish you were here too! I can't believe my DD likes it! I use to drag her into antique places when she was younger and she hated it! Amazing what a little bit of time will do to a person! Lol!!

Everyone have a great weekend! I'm outta here!

I used to be the same way. When I was teen Mama used to drag me into all kinds of antique/ thrift shops and I HATED it. Now I just LOVE those kinds of places. Always find some kind of cool something in there.

Algo I love the baby name. It is oerfect!

Texas I think you def made the right choice. The stain is very pretty! I have always felt it warmed things up so much and your pictures prove it.

Our bathroom is froze up, we have 50 mile an hour winds and it is 20 above, and snowing

Ask me why I still live here!? My FIL just called from Arizona, they are waiting a tad longer to come home, can't say I blame him!

I want to go antiquing!! Anyone know what Stangl Pottery is? My mom grew up in the town (in NJ) where it was maufactured and it was their normal dinnerware, but it now considered an antique since it went out of production years ago. It has tons of different patterns and we have fun collecting different pieces we find when we're out and about.

It's going to be in the UPPER 80's here the nxt few days.

Exhausted, but back. Will share news by PM in the next day or two when I'm more rested. The news could have been better & could have been worse. Those of you who are on my FB can see the updates I posted there. It's going to be a long haul ahead of us still. I'm deliberately being vague here because I don't want to to discuss this in detail on a public forum. Suffice it to say that this will not be the last rough patch but hopefully there won't be too many!

The dogs & cats were sure glad to see me! The rabbit is mad at me and went in his corner, ROFL. He's ticked that I've been gone and let me know it. The birds just don't care...so long as they have food!

I barely beat the ice home. It was misting and hovering about freezing for the last couple of hours. I was worried it would get nasty on the roads before I made it in. The snow in the yard has an ice crust on it from the stuff coming down this evening. Thankfully, the road temp was a degree or two warmer so it didn't ice over!
