Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

Hey everyone!

Just took 23 fuzzy butts out of the hatcher and into the brooder! Still have one hatched but wet and a few more eggs cheeping at me. Will try to get pics. this time. I sold my last batch befor I thought about getting pictures.
It is so weird how things go around here. For weeks at a time I will have at least 12 dozen eggs in the fridge for sale and then right when I need eggs to start another bator full, I have people knocking at my door wanting all of my eggs!

Out of my 36 hens I only got 20 eggs today. I want to do this

to my 16 lazy hens.

Nat - Have you run any bloodwork on your dog? Maybe he has an issue and can't hold his urine. If you all were closer I'd take care of all your dogs.

We have our big 10-day long family vacation in July (you're all welcome to attend!) and this year DH's 10-year class reunion in OH got scheduled for the second weekend of vacation. Of course he wants to go (it's my family on vacation, not his), and I want to support him, but I really don't want to cut my vacation short or take a 16-hr road trip with a baby.

Morning Ladies!!!

Hope you all had a great weekend. I spent it at moms. We worked hard on Saturday. She had a fellow come over to trim all her bushes, Friday night she calls to confirm and he said he would be at the house in the morning. After she hangs up I ask her how much is he charging -- She said $100 per hour

. so I tell her that that was over the top too much. and she said well i heard he was good. We chatted back and forth about it and came to the decision that we would let him show up and tell us what he was going to do and see if we felt he was really "worth it".

At 7:15 the next morning he shows up. Me and mom both still in bed (Bessy hadn't even woke me up yet) We go outside in our robes and the first thing I said to the fellow was That since you charge 100 per hour we want to talk to you about what your plans are around here. He looked at me like I was crazy -- he said he is good but he wasn't a 100 an hour good. I looked at mom and she said with her sweet little self -- well I have no idea where I got that from.

Anyway, I wanted to get out and do some work. so as he trimmed, I raked and cleaned flower beds. Loaded the trimmings on his truck. he and i worked right along side each other and had the best morning. When he left he asked if i wanted to come and work with him on his next job that we made such a good team. I just laughed and told him maybe next time.

It was fun, and then I went in and me and mom watched movies the rest of the day. It was a good weekend.

I have never been much for class reunions, but I have gone to two of mine 10 year, and 30 year They were fun, but if I had to choose a vacation over a class reunion, well haven't seen em in 30 years... i do understand your supporting your DH.

Nat, He charged mom 50 an hour (which in my mind was still a lot, but he did do an awesome job. He cleaned up good and was fast) My helping probably cut about 2 hours off his time. He was there for over 6 hours -- She has a lot of bushes that need trimming. The woman loves her plants. And when it was all done, she was so happy -- the place looked awesome.

I tel yah 50$ an hour is good IF they are good and fast! I always jump in and help to minimize the $ Im spitting out! Good job!!! Glad for mom's happiness!

Miss Bessy decided to take off while we out for our evening walk. she left and would not come back. at 2:30 this morning I hear her barking in the woods and finally got her to come home.

I had a few words to say to her.
