I've only ever seen 3 in my life time. I heard they are pretty rare. My husband and I walked out our back door yesterday and there one stood eating those helicopter seeds that fall from our tree. I quick went in and grabed the camera of course, took a few photo's. Then went back in to get a few shelled peanuts. I should have known to give my hens something to do cause when I threw the peanut, not only did the squirrel run for it but so did my hens. They all stoped dead in their tracks when each saw each other and the squirrel ran up the tree. I haven't seen him since. I hope it's still up there.
