Ever seen a chicken yawn?

Sometimes a yawn is just a yawn, not gapeworms. When you hear hoofbeats think horses, not zebras.

I have a hen that gets the hiccups at least once a day. Normal and healthy in every way, just prone to hiccups.

Wait - they can get HICCUPS?! The only critter I've ever seen get the hiccups is my sister's hamster, and that's questionable! What does THAT sound like?

I'll be honest, I've never heard of gapeworm until this thread. I'll keep an eye on her. Today, I haven't seen her yawn once. So I really think she was just sleepy from all the treats and then hanging out in the sun with her sisters.
