Ever wish you could quit your job...

To be fair, Conan paid for all of the relocation costs of his staff and production team to the tune of $7.2 mil when the venue changed for less than seven months. NBC really yanked those people around in an economy where specialized jobs like those are hard to come by.

I never did watch the show though.

I'd like to retire by 35.

Whatever it takes.

Do you have a hidden camera at my house?
except my drive is about 1hr 15 minutes.
and I got 4 hrs of sleep yesterday but today about 6.

thank goodness for the chicken diversion that's for sure.

I watched last night and just about keeled over laughing. I always thought Leno was a twit for deciding not to retire after all the contracts were signed. Now I think he's a bigger twit for going after his old job when his new show was a flop. I hope Conan goes to Fox and goes against Leno. I'd watch it just to stick it to the peacock.

I heard on the radio yesterday that a lot of the big stars said for Leno not to think about calling them to be on his new show. They are Conan people. I like them both, but think Conan is funnier than Jay. Although Jay has that sort of dry wit that I absolutely love. . . I am afraid that Jay has shot himself in the foot. I am never up late enough to watch, but I always know that if it was something outstanding it will be on the today show the next am. I also thought it was just wonderful of Conan to pay his people so they would have something to fall back on until they could get back on track. I was hoping he could take a lot of them with him. Wonder if Andy will go with him? He is funny too.

I was accidentally watching Leno last night (the show really, really sucks) and heard about this, then I googled it.

Conan is giving a lot to his employees apparently, so that is commendable of him.

I really dont get this whole thing, sounds very stupid. I can't believe Jay would take his job back!!! Has no pride when it comes to money I guess.

Remember they are both under contract. Nether one could just walk away an both have a crew of 100+ people to worry about. When Leno was replaced he asked to get out of the contract but they would not let him. Dont think he has any more say now.
