If I get pigeons it wont be until may 16 there a swat meet at mt hope ohio and the amish bring a lot of pigeons but I want to start getting ready, can pigeons get diseases that will affect my chickens and what should I feed the pigeons because I heard pigeons weren't suppose to eat chicken feed

Yes I do. My pigeons are now in with my ducks (Calls an Mandarins) so when I let the ducks out the pigeons are too. They are about 10 hour to fly every way they want to.

A reduced read giant homer hen I raised about 6 yeras ago. She was the Tulsa Champion the next year .I have had Giant homers for over 20 years . I am interested in finding Good Faded recessive red texan pioneer pigeons to experiment with on some crosses and or White Swis mondians and or utility faded King pigeons .

Does anyone on the site know of any for sale ?
