In your situation I am quite sure I would have done the same thing or have fostered it with these excellent foster parents. Unfortunately these birds have passe just a month or so ago within days of each other. I have no clue how old they were as they were give to me as adults.

been their! A pair of doves I had abandoned both eggs at hatch and I saw a few hours later n one dosnt make it the other was almost frozen. Chomper made it almost a week and then passed away. It was a learning experience and I would do it again in a heart beat. Everyone deserves a second chance.

I hope I don't have to be a pigeon mom again because I have a feeling Lotto will never make it out of the house to the coop! Lol

It was super hard! I've raised 2 pigeons from 3 weeks and up b4 in our house and it was so hard to put them in the coop!!! But they are ao happy their now I love it! I miss chomper. Little thing really was doing well and knew my smell! Is lift the blanket and he'd stand up looking for me. Watchin them develope daily is amazing. His eyes hadn't opened yet. I was really hoping to be the first thing he saw. But, who knows. He could have been to cold by the time I for to him and had organ damage. But like I said I'd do it again at a drop of a hat! Helping thoes that can't help them selves is it's own feeling. We have an indoor chicken now lol
