Here's our pigeons! Everest and Pearl are incubating their second clutch right now and Reuben and Ellen are on their first clutch! I have a question do pigeon males usually incubate eggs while raising a previous batch?

Lovely patterned and colours... what breed are they?

In answer to your question... YES. Males will feed and care for the previous batch until they are able to take care of themselves... and the male will also brood the eggs of the new batch. The females usually ignore the first batch babies once she has her new eggs.
