Everything Easter Egger

I love my EEs! I just hatched a batch of all green eggers today! 2nd pic also shows an olive egger, cuckoo marans, and lavender marans. The marans barely tolerate me, a few of the EEs would love to be house pets. The red and gray rooster will let you hold him and is a guest favorite, the black gold is too busy protecting his flock but isn’t mean. I just can’t stop hatching them lol

Aww :love They’re all so pretty

Mostly such a friendly breed! Every once in a while I will get a sassy girl lol. Their feathers come in such beautiful varieties depending on the mix too. They’re a breed I’ve experienced some great lifespans with as well, I have one currently who is an old lady of 8 who no longer lays but hangs out with the other retired ladies. Can’t go wrong! If you’re specifically looking for friendly, if you don’t already have some, cream legbars are another one of the sweetest breeds I’ve ever raised.
That’s good to know! I always want my chickens to live long!

I figured that since they’re literally my name (and I couldn’t find an existing thread) I’d start a thread on Easter Eggers! Easter Eggers are not an actual breed but I still love them.

An Easter Egger is any mix that has the blue egg gene. That means any not purebred bird that lays blue or green eggs is an Easter Egger.

Feel free to post pictures, tell stories, and ask questions!
I have Easter Egger bantam eggs UFD here are some pictures of there parents
