We've had three EEs, two extremely friendly and people oriented, following me around the yard, allowing me to pick them up at will, the third one not at all. Purchased them as pullets, two red and one all white without any coloring, were told they were all Ameracauna something, farmer didn't know. I have since read where they can be prone to medical issues. I can attest to that as we've had issues with all three; two are deceased, one from a bad heart, the second developed severe neurological issues and couldn't use her left side at all - vet verified - the third thriving but have dealt with just about everything in the book with her. We go to great lengths to keep our coop sparkling clean, the hens healthy, high quality feed and treats, supplements, fruit, healthy greens and it's been nothing but frustration for us and them. I like the EE personality but ensure you purchase from a reputable breeder.
