These two are almost identical. Luke (chewing on the hose) is bigger, and Leia has roaning, that's the only difference 😅

There's been three sets of twins so far. Luke is the only boy:yesss:

Congratulations!!! They are adorable! Those ears! 💗 Do you have many more left to kid?

Our bucks Kosmo and Griffin are getting bigger, and are starting to sprout beards. I hope we will have babies next spring. I finally got the buck fence put up so the boys are not loose in the backyard anymore (and I can get the summer garden planted).

Here are the girls--demanding breakfast and looking rather goofy. Wish I could photoshop the fence out.

Yep, two experienced ladies and two new girls.

I've actually had bucks well under a year old get the job done. Princess has had two boys prior to having Leia and Luke, both of them were super eager at about eight weeks old🤦🏻‍♀️

Those are the most adorable goats😍😭
I miss my little nigerians.

ohhh, be sure to post more pictures of your new babies when they come. :)

I'm still trying to decide if any of my does are mature enough to breed. They all turned one year this spring, but last time I weighed them (back in Nov or Dec, I think) the two gold girls were only about 30 lbs. The other one is bigger though.

My local petting zoo just keeps all the boys and girls together. All the yearling does get pregnant and kid just fine. And it won't keep them from growing.
Early breeding isn't recommended but most girls do just fine.

It's and on and off kind of thread. There should be some baby goats on the ground, so people may want to post new pics.
December is not a fun month to own goats, and early spring is a hard time because of babies being born, worming, starting milking, hoof trimming (spring rain ruins those hooves) and, they usually just don't look very glamorous, since summer and fall are their best months 😂
I'll post baby pics later.

Do you have goats?
Yeah, I've got goats. Nubians and LaManchas. I currently own 11. I would post pics of some kids, but i don't have any on here! 😅 Mine are for milk and breeding
