EWW !! are these eggs !!!! ( MITES )

The
dust kills the adult mites and some (but not all) eggs. You need to dust everyone again in about 10 days to kill any mites that hatch before they mature and lay more eggs. It's known as "breaking the cylcle" and you should be conscientious in repeating the treatment.

Dusting cannot remove the egg clusters from the feathers. Even though they are dead, they are pretty firmly cemented on the feathers and will remain until the bird loses the feathers through a molt.

The Sevin should kill the adult mites very quickly - almost on contact, but certainly within 24 hours.
