Gosh, I didn't think you guys were that interested!
I thought the topic grossed everyone out...
After a couple of drinks, I scrounged up the courage to slice. First let me tell you hubby is a VERY IMPATIENT person. And I felt sorry for him, and I know he is compromised with his medication that he takes, and was feeling really bad. So, I prepared the area, saw two little markings I thought would be the exit marks - I picked the one that looked sorta like a whitehead, and I sliced a half inch mark down thru the mark and went about 1/8 inch deep, he started to bleed, but not bad. I kept dabbing it and then tried to apply pressure around the dern thing. He didn't like that, I guess it hurt, but I was being gentle. Nothing looked like it was gonna give. This is a cyst, not a boil. The thing really didn't look ripe enough.
And that was what the Doc said, he also said that these things have a "mind" of their own, like it looks like it's gonna splode, then nah it's gonna hibernate for a while longer.
He goes in Wednesday for the removal. I tried! I thought I could slice that thing out and be a hero, but he has thick skin and I wasn't going to slice like 4 inches and pop that sucker out. Nope nope nope....
He said this morning that he feels a little better like he can wait for Wed. He is still taking his antibiotics, so no worry there.
And yes, he's still on the family room couch at night. Two's enough, three is a crowd.
Thanks for asking!
