Ewww rats in the run

Last night when I went to close the coop, rats scattered out of the run. At least I know how the are getting in! They are getting in thru the small space of the roof. I'm using fiberglass wavy tiles. Had anyone used these and if so how do you seal each space? I'm sure I can figure it out but gross! I hate rats!
I'll be keeping the food and water inside the garage and bring out in the morning for the girls.

Can you post a picture? The wavy material isn't the best to work with but it's possible to seal them up. I would either use 1/2" hardware stuffed into each hole, or use a sheet of it with a 90* bend and attach to structure, snug up against roof. Possibly another 90* bend to go up past the roof. This will keep the rats out, but still leave ventilation.

You can buy closure strips for that. They're just wooden pieces cut with the same wave of the roofing, so they fit together snugly. That would be my suggestion, but it might be hard to install them without taking the roof apart.

Thank you! I took the roof off and put in the closure strips. So far so good... No rats
