Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

"nursing" is NOT what my very neutered male cat did to the teddy bears. We have removed all stuffed animals from the house.
"Mom, what's the cat doing?" omg!

My boys live on the edge of complete bodily breakdown from malnutrition if one of their kibble nuggets might have been from yesterday.
You can see how close to death from malnutrition they are...

Yep, give that cat some siamese markings and that would be KiKi. She's going to starve to death any day now.

Be careful what you name your pets: ours seem to spend every moment trying to live up to it.
His name is "Rat", changed to RatCat so as not to confuse the vet's office. He really did look like a little rat when he first appeared (long story there) hairless tail and skin-and-bones starved. He has never forgotten being starved; all food must be measured and served at precise times.
Once he had to be on a medicated diet; found out he was mooching next door, eating out of the neighbor's ginormous cat food bowl she always left out. She recognized the cat I was holding; one of her regulars. I didn't pitch a fit, just pointed out that leaving food out all night would attract skunks (it was the nastiest animal I could think of).

He also sucked on earlobes for years. Vet said it was because he was weaned too early. He only does it now when he's feeling bad.

In a way, I think KiKi is teaching Kitty how to be a cat. Kitty was orphaned as a feral at 3 weeks old. Our dog Charlie Girl raised her, so as far as Kitty was concerned, she was a dog.
Kitty is picking up cat habits now. Just hope she never gets to be the drama queen that KiKi is; but I think that's a siamese thing. The world revolves around a siamese or at least they think it does.

I had a siamese, Danang, that loved to suckle the belly of my DD's teddy bear. After awhile the bear was fur-less on his belly.

I think we have officially proven that cats are WEIRD!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, I'm sure most of us already knew that, we've just proven how weird they actually are!

Max the Cat came into the house as an 8 week old and was raised by Lily the dog. He is very much a dogcat. He plays fetch (better than the dogs actually) and has lots of doggy skills. He is the alpha dog in the household and both 50+lb boxer mixes bow to Max's wishes. They won't cross him ever. For the longest time the puppy wouldn't walk by him. Max kept sitting in doorways and stranding the puppy in rooms. She would just sit there and whine and wail until I came and got her. I swear Max would snicker. Even now he will box their ears if the dogs step out of line. He's a great cat.
