Ex-battery hens

I was wondering if anyone knows how to go about adopting ex-battery hens? I've been looking around online and I can't find much information. Thanks!

in the uk we have battery hen rescue,dont know if u do over there but its worth coing a search

I saw a thread recently that had a current rescue, I believe they would even ship for free in eastern U.S? but I can’t seem to find it now I bet one of our BYC folks would point us in the right direction?

I started a thread a week ago or somethin look back into it...on Managing Your Flock its somewere there it says "Im getting battery hens"Theres lots of info there.
