Examples of 'gold breed' roo's to use for sexlink crosses?

Hi BYC peeps

Can you give me ideas and examples of breeds that I can create sexlink crosses with my Light Sussex hens. I want egg layers.
jmagill is using a BLRW Rooster, that should be a beautiful cross.

RIR, Hew Hamp, Buff Orp ( or Buff anything), Buff Sussex, Golden laced or BLR Wyandottes, Partridge anything, Welsummers, Barnevelders, ect....

The Standard commercial layer of the late 30s to late 50s was a Brown Leghorn male over Light Sussex hens. Pullets are a gold colour. Cockerels grow quickly and are killed early as fryers (spatchcocks). New Hampshire male is a good alternative.
